"Eep!" Larini made an undignified sound as the staff booped her nose.
"Thanks... ooh, can I visit the big boat as well?"

Gareth glared up at the wyvern rider, and continued to keep himself in between Eneas and Rydell.

"And suppose they were just a tad smarter than you expect and they sent out scouts first? Or explored the Sanctuary forest first? I will not back down until Eneas has decided what he wants to do. If he tells me he will go see his brother than so be it, but if he does not want to do so, then I will not back down."

Eneas didn't get up quickly. A few tear drops stained his face from the utterly vicious stabbing that had left him on the ground. He had never been stabbed before. It hurt. A lot. Then it hurt a lot more when the healer lady smacked it. Goddess above, it hurt. Still. Moments later all that remained was a dull throbbing pain and a gaping hole in his robes that sorely required both cleaning and mending. He turned to the healer, and wiped a few drops from his face.

: "T-thank you miss. I... Yes. I think... Thank you."

Now that his wounds were attended to, he turned to face the road ahead. Putting on a brave face, the meek Eneas held out a hand to stay his rambunctious companion and cut out beyond his protection.

: "I-it's quite alright Gareth. The request is reasonable. My brother shall not be denied his right to see me."

Lestat slowly stood up covering his wounds yet with a grumble.

"This would be a very good time to get some assistance."

Rydell looked over to his three subordinates.

"Permission granted. If they're not hostile, try to find out as much as possible about both the ship and whomever it was we fought."

That taken care of he turned back to the annoying Sanctuarian and Eneas.

"Then they would have had the wit to pretend to not be hostile until our backs were turned and it was too late. But that didn't happen and neither did your supposed outcome. Arguing what ifs further would be a waste of breath."

Once Eneas made his decision Rydell gave him a small bow.

"Thank you, Eneas. Now please come with me." He led Eneas over to his wyvern and helped him up onto the saddle. If Gareth tried to follow he would find the wyvern growling at him and using it's tail to repel him. "Now let us be off."

Rydell landed so that when Eneas was on the ground he would be in between Rydell and Torves. As soon as he was on the ground Pancras almost ran to him, kept at bay only by the axe in General Torves' hand.

"Eneas! Thank The Lady you're safe." It was then he noticed the blood and the hole in Eneas' robes. "What happened!? It was the Passans, wasn't it? Let us return home to father before they can do you anymore harm."

Aenbarr had watched impassively the useless argument between Rydell and the Sanctuarian that was finally stopped when the younger Sanctuarian made his own decision. With the matter resolved, the Tarvos turned back and went to check on Lestat, who was about as proud of a monster's natural form as Aenbarr was.

"Hey Lestat. How are you feeling?"

Gareth had made no move to follow after Eneas, suspecting that he would not like the result if he did. So instead he growled slightly under his breath, pacing as he waited for Eneas to return, ignoring the wound in his shoulder that had knocked him down earlier. The vulnerary had helped some but had not fixed the problem completely, but there were more important things on his mind.

"Yay!"

She headed up onto the ship, looking around curiously, and waved at Jack and his mateys.

"Hello!"

Hanna, of course, headed onboard.

"Hello, sailors. Which one of you is in charge? I would like to speak with them."

Of course, Twin is neither man nor woman but an unholy eldritch abomination like every other Bay12er. The difference is they hide it better.

Upon landing, Eneas smiled in spite of the situation.

: "Pancras! Brother!"

He lunged forward, only stopping to attempt to place a calm hand upon Torves' axe to lower it. He charged foward to embrace his brother. When Eneas pulled away, he laughed a bit and he gestured towards his robes.

: "Fear not. This was not the doing of the Passan men. Rather, it was the doing of the strange foreign men on the boat while I was assisting the Passan men." He paused.

: "Ah... I was stabbed by a man with particularly colorful clothes. It hurt terribly, but only for a short time. In fact, their healer has already tended to my wounds. It's now but a dull ache after she was done hitting it! See? I'm not even sure if they'll be a scar."

"Considering I had been shot down twice by giant arrows...I can only say I am alive. I probably will need some medical attention too. While it is easier for me to deal with bladed weapons, arrows aren't something my wings or my body approve."

With that last statement, he glanced at his own wings to make sure there weren't any holes on them.

"You will be healed soon." Aenbarr stated calmly, glancing at the conversation between the Sanctuarians before putting away the hatchet that was in his hand. He was bloodied himself and the salty sea breeze wasn't doing anyone any favors, but still... He stretched his arms and sighed. "Land beyond ours, and populated by yet more idiots. Not a promising prospect."

Pasco appeared beside Gareth, elbowing the man and remarking loudly enough for Rydell to probably hear.
:"Huh. I've never seen a Passan kowtow that hard to a Sanctuarian before. Didn't think it was possible."

Gareth smirked slightly but shook his head.

"No, the monster lover thought he was mocking me, but what he realizes is I don't care what he thinks of me. My only goal was to keep Eneas safe."
