Gareth sighed, rubbing his face and shook his head.

"Eneas, will you please speak some sense to him? You know as well as I do that we cannot take on these men. That's why we've been running this whole time. _{Though why I ever let myself get involved in this... Ugh.}"

"Well techniqually they attacked us first so it's not really murder more like showing fools the error of their ways, and nabbing a cool boat."

[Caellath]

"I do not give rides." Aenbarr's reply was both swift and direct.

[Haspen]

"You make me sad."

"Just because we are the first does not make us the last."

"Sir, the monster worshipers with to speak with you!"

"I'm not deaf you twit. And as for you red hair, I'll offer the lot of you a chance to join us. Surrender or kill those monsters and we'll spare you. If you refuse we'll be forced to eliminate you. That's all I have to say to you."

[Haspen]

"You make me sad too, especially that you are the cutest. Do not worry - I will give you proper funeral! With flowers!"

"Tatically we need to take the boat, and their weapons look unique, I wonder if they fight differently then the people here.  This could be fun, and it's been a while since I used my magic."

"You're all idiots, you know that? We don't want to kill you. We want to talk. But if we have to, we will defend ourselves and that won't turn out well for either side. Have it your way."

:"'ey, wasn't why I was running. I was planning. After all, we can't run forever, yeah? Eventually they're gonna catch up with us, we just gotta x 'em out before they can. Hey, if you're that opposed to sticking up here, who knows what's going on down there? Could be helpful. Or something."

"Ugh, lets let Eneas decide what we do. I'll listen to what he says."

Pasco grins wider.
:"Iiiii don't work for him."

Eneas was beginning to panic. Bah! If only they hadn't stopped at that inn. Then again, if he hadn't of done that, he wouldn't have met Gareth and Pasco. And without them, he never would have made it this far in the first place. He wringed his hands, kneeling his head in prayer.

: "Sweet Maiden preserve us. I'm sorry I ever got you two into this mess..."

He shook his head and turned to his companion, the thief and the swordsman.

"I-I cannot condone combat with my brother, or any Sancturian man. Maiden help us, please let it not come to that. They're only following my father's wishes."

: "If either of you wish to run, I won't hold it against you. Head back into the woods and lay low. They won't pursue either of you if they know I'm here. As for myself, I'm going forward. The border is too close for me to turn back now. I've made the first step, now I must make the next. I'll let myself be captured by those monsters ahead if that's what I have to do to get across."

: "In fact, that's what I will do."

Eneas strides out of the treeline, stopping at 15,6

"... Ugh. I won't let you go alone. I would not be a warrior of Sanctuary if I did that. So I will go along with your wishes. ... Even... ugh even if that is working with those inferior beings."
