"Yes, there is. The day 3 days ago is still Tuesday, even though time has passed. Saturday is also still Saturday. The problem is, what does the 'it' in the question refer to?"

So two days ago would be Saturday +3 days, so Sunday, Monday, Tuesday. Add 2 days to that, and I get Thursday... so today would be Friday, assuming no tricks and my math being right."
