"Uh...I think I'll stay up here and try to help. Seems like it would be hard to be able to keep track of how the board was set up from down there...I'm thinking, maybe...that third statue in from the left on the front starting row, moving forward and to the left. If that makes any sense? Keeps them on the defensive if they don't want one of our knights getting kinged pretty fast."

Tiruin hands over her bow and quiver to Twinwolf (with a subtle, nervous pat on her hand) as she decides to usher in the next note.

"I think I can best this if the opponent was a human player. That's assuming a lot out of orthodox...checkers though. Here's my plan."

"Now I'm assuming that the opponent can't hear me anyway. Can anyone else be creative here? I'm thinking too...anchored to do otherwise. Also, hugging and hauling these pieces leaves me with an understanding and appreciation of fine woodwork. Up close, you can see all those minute details"

She noticed a second after how her words could be taken.

"Uh, ignore my 'anyone else be creative' part. I meant something like this is a puzzle and I'm too focused on what we usually assume to try anything else. Nothing else assumed. Sorry. I'm tired now. But this is fun."
((I meant did someone go to the other to the other end, as in the black pieces.))
"As in, I should go with the black pieces?"

Of course, Twin is neither man nor woman but an unholy eldritch abomination like every other Bay12er. The difference is they hide it better.

"I'd like you to either try to shoot the opponent, or move to the other side of the board. You're doing fine right there."

"I don't do archery, so I'll go to the other side of the board." Do what Tiruin suggested.

(3m = ~10ft, meaning someone'd need a boost to get out of there)

"I'm going to go see if I can get help from the others. I don't know how to play checkers, but they probably would, and maybe one of them has a way to help you guys up from down there." HugoLuman picks his way back across the tiles so he can communicate with the group on the other end of the room and those still in with the skeletons. "Hey, we've got a game of checkers going on back there, and some people are stuck down a pit."

The bony figure doesn't take long to finish playing Kyle's requested song, and tosses his empty bottle back to him.

(Also)
Aoshi looks at people looting skeletons and shakes his head. If this was a videogame without sense of smell I would understand that...

He clears his throat and asks: "Does anyone have anything that helps me to sharpen my katana?"
(Adragis pls. Though he is back in the skeleton room currently.)

((IC, I have no idea what Arc had, or what the potion was. I'd need prodding. Plus, I'm in the chess room.))

"At this point, I really have no idea what this is. I'm going to hang back."

Fallacy continues watching the "game" from the door in the hangman room.

Edit: ((It's worth noting I've only completed two rooms yet it seems I have 3 xp.))
Edit 2: ((Fixed.))

FoU has some twisted role ideas. Screw second-guessing this mechanical garbage spaghetti, I'm basing everything on reads and visible daytime behaviour.

Would you like to play a game of Mafia? The subforum is always open to new players.

At the moment, two plans have been made, but neither performed.

Arcvasti, seeing that the wooden statues didn't attack any of the people who jumped down there, leaped down and sits themselves down next to one of Them to observe.

((Arbitrarily chose Tiruin as she's the one doing the actual moving.))

The moment you stop pushing the statue, the ebony statue on its right-hand side, an armoured figure reminiscent of Sauron, hefts its greatmaul (you just barely have time to dodge) and crushes the poor knight into pieces, then walks over its remains to the next square. The pieces of the broken statue are suddenly engulfed by flames, and quickly burn to ash.

"I know wood doesn't feel pain, does it? but that looked painful."

"Yep. Thought that would happen. So, let's say the rows are lettered, and the columns are numbered, okay? I'm thinking we move the knight at F5 to E4. E6 will probably move to, uh...well, F5 or F7. Either way, we can take their piece to prevent them getting a king, and then we take two of theirs and get a king with the piece at E4."

"Isn't that an illegal move? Aren't you supposed to capture whenever possible in Checkers? I think E3 can capture F4."
