Val just holds up her pad with the order number and specifications. Sadly for the curious, it wasn't immediately visiable what exactly she'd ordered.

I may never know what else she would have done. Maybe she had some fireworks or something?

Daniel orders one of the simpler items, though  'simpler' was of course a relative term in these circumstances. He does order a rather large serving, though.

...I am getting repetitive, aren't I? I guess I could use different words to see if that works. She might not understand some of the more difficult ones though.

Aside from that, Chinese food it a lot different when you are this close to China. It is probably much higher quality then what you call Chinese food in Ireland.....Wait, why are your parents afraid of buffets?"

Val set up her laptop in front of where her plate would be and calibrated the eye-tracker again. Before starting while waiting for the food.

"So. That was my first day at this school." She grinned self-ironically.
