Dani's grip on the menu gets a little tighter as he reads. They're nice people. Be nice, he tells himself. They're treating you to expensive, quality food. They're going to be your comrades. Be nice.

[SOLDIER First]

"I feel... I dunno. It's kinda weird, wearing this outside of school."

[Twinwolf]

"Are you alright?"

She follows nicely

Motou walks outside and begins traveling more-or-less directly to the restaurant. On the way, he begins talking.

"So, what do you think of the others? Our comrades, I mean."

"Didn't really interact with them much, I guess Daniel is... nice."

[Stirk]

"Didn't really interact with them much, I guess Daniel is... nice."

"Got a crush on him, do you? I never would have thought you would be one to fall for the girly bishōnen looks if I had to guess....But I digress. I had meant from a combat standpoint, of course. Each individual seems capable on their own, in their own way. They don't seem to have a grasp of teamwork or tactics yet, but that will come in time. So long as they don't start shooting lightning at each other."

Vals pad slides in under his menue. Surprise! Same question as Yui. Written diffrently: "Too many options? Or are you just having shakes after the whole fighting for your life thing?"

Daniel bites his tongue for a second or two to keep his first response in check, pretending to just be reading the last bits of an item.

"Fine. I mean, you know, other than the whole Thanatos thing. But I'm fine. Perfectly fine. Thank you for asking though!" He manages to smile as he says the last bit, and have it come out almost enthusiastically.

Just cuz' they're richer than everyone else on the island put together doesn't mean anything. They're probably perfectly nice people. It doesn't matter that they could probably get away with murder if they really wanted. Being rich doesn't necessarily make you a bad person. Doesn't matter that they have an allowance. That's the way the world works. Just accept it, they're perfectly nice people after all. Can't do anything to change it, just calm down and accept it...

"I-I think I know what I'd like to try."

[Twinwolf]

"You can just get whatever."

Dani swallows before responding. "C-cool. Thank you."

She's so nonchalant about....why wouldn't she be, like she said, it's just a weekly allowance for her. Don't think about what else or how much it could buy. Don't think about what her family probably puts the money towards. She's not like them. She's not like them. They're the exception, not the rule. Calm down, Daniel....

[Mistwing]

Sass nodded and leaned in and joinked the pad out from under Daniels menue. Which took some effort considering she had to more or less bend over the table to do so. And that involved the trick of being aware she was wearing the obligatory skirt that was all too common in uniforms. And try not to know anything over with arms, head or other bodyparts. She managed, though, and slumped back in her chair with a light bounce.

"Crush? No.  Tactically speaking, I agree that right now there isn't much we can do apart from hit the enemies as hard and as fast as we can.  Each persona is so different and nuanced that strategy can only come in time."

[SOLDIER First]

Kiyoshi remained stalwart and stared straight ahead the entire time.

Checked if everyone had decided. Provided they had, she flagged the weiter. Surprisingly behaving with perfect candour for the surroundings. Despite... everything.

Once everyone has decided, the waiter comes to take their orders.

"Crush? No.  Tactically speaking, I agree that right now there isn't much we can do apart from hit the enemies as hard and as fast as we can.  Each persona is so different and nuanced that strategy can only come in time."

"It will also depend on what fire teams we separate into. It doesn't seem like all battles will be like that one, from the way they talked about it that it was probably some sort of boss. Smaller enemies would be easier to beat in two teams. Ah, look! We are approaching the objective!"

Motou points to a nearby fairly nondescript building with a sign advertising the restaurant's name on the side.
