Noble Lords of the Al-Malik, Hazat, and Hawkwoods,

Hopefully, next year if I can convince the League to accept my offer of peace (for some reason they still can't get over me kidnapping their leader) I will be sending transports on trade missions to the Agoras throughout the Empire.  So, when you encounter one or two lone diplomatic envoys or Li Halan Respected House Merchants (smugglers) transiting your jump gates you will know their intentions.

Also, you will notice that the Decados are completely absent from this notification since they have completely destroyed any commerce within their borders.  Which leads me to ask Lord Ibn Donald, since it is such a long journey to De Moley and that world is now under your dominion does an Agora yet thrive there our has Lord Vladimir razed it to the ground like the others.  As beautiful as the irradiated landscape of De Moley may be, we would find it tedious to journey there for trade only to find the bazaar a smoldering heap of ash.

Now, that Lord Ibn Donald and I have worked through our regular litany of insults, I just wanted to issue a final clarification that while my trade vessels traverse the jump lanes of the Known Worlds.  This is a reciprocal arrangement the Agoras are the Garden Worlds are well stocked with a plethora of goods, should any other house wish to trade with them they are welcome to visit our worlds for commerce.

As our Li Halan merchants journey to their destinations, I will keep them limited to one or two transports per planet, and would expect the same from other nobles to limit their transports to the same minimal numbers should you decide to trade on Li Halan worlds.

Only the House Decados will receive extra scrutiny, since they have a much to prove to earn back the trust of the Li Halan as it pertains to their interaction with Agoras.

Thank you to Lord Vladimir and the Imperial Eye for this designation, the citizens of the Garden Worlds are strong and industrious people that know the Pancreator rewards hard work.  While the suns may fade, the reflective light emanating from the souls of our people is a beacon to all.

While others may fight and squabble over the remnants of a fallen and decadent Republic, the people of the Li Halan shall strive to build something new in the name of the Pancreator and be hopeful that his grace shall stop the dimming of our suns and bring the light of the Empyrean back to the Known Worlds.

To speak specifically as to why Lord Vladimir has bestowed this declaration, the Decados own several estates on the world of Icon, as of this last year, they witnessed that planet joins Kish in becoming the second fully industrialized society in the Garden Worlds.  Escoral, the capital of Kish, now covers several hundred kilometers with vast manufacturing districts and dozens of bustling starports.

On Icon, all vital points of natural resources have been tapped, and next year dozens of engineers, architects, and edificers (no slave labor because it has been banned since the conversion of Cardano Li Halan) will be arriving in the capital city of Bao to begin construction on the industries and military facilities that will allow that world to reach its full potential.

Another reason, why our house has been blessed with such great wealth, it comes from the determination of our people to succeed.

We have also reached agreements with the Hawkwoods and Al-Malik to acquire estates on Rampart and Midian to begin the full development of those worlds, although, we have not decided which one shall be next.

As stated in our earlier diplomatic edict, the Li Halan shall focus on our own affairs with peace and goodwill towards our neighbors, promoting free trade and cooperation with all that desire it.

Perhaps instead you would be open to commerce between our Houses instead, while my stocks of resources are not limitless, they are ample enough to hopefully suit your needs, including rarer stocks of advanced technological goods currently hard to produce outside of Leagueheim.

Feel free to send a representative, I'm sure we can come to arrangement that doesn't give the Merchants anymore funds for their war chest.

Your concerns are understandable, I would not want a single firebird that is exchanged with the League to be used to fund any violence against our Hawkwood friends.

We have no need for the base resources such as Gems, Energy, Metal, Food, or Trace. The planetary natural wealth of Kish and Icon have allowed our people to move past the desire for such things.

Neither do we need Electronics, Chemicals, or Biochemicals our stockpiles are currently overflowing with such items. Also, Wetware is an abomination that we have no need for either.

The Li Halan needs are very specific, we require Ceramsteel, Monopols, and Singularities.  As much as possible, and in the largest of quantities.  Singularities are the most sought after item, and Ceramsteel the second.  However, of the three Monopols are of the lowest priority since our researchers unlocked the mysteries of Cold Fusion this year and our first four Fusoriums will be operational on Icon next year.

If House Hawkwood, owns and wishes to part with such goods we would be willing to trade directly with our Noble Cousins.

Seeing Red: Ambassadors for the Hazat at Byzantium Secundus stun the Imperial Assembly by swapping their formal attire from crimson to a more subdued ruby color.  The official reasoning is to differentiate the Hazat colors from those of the Church, but polls show that almost all outside of the Assembly can't tell the difference.
