'Progress' is currently the most chic word on Istakhr. All enemies of the Donald either retreat in disarray, or suddenly become friendly and amenable.
On Stigmata, Symbiots suffered another crushing defeat under the indomitable ceramsteel feet of the Garrison soldiers. Scions of Zhal led the charge, cleaving terrible wounds in the twisted hive-flesh of the Symbiots, while ancient Golems mowed down incoming spitters as if they were mere fireflies. Once more, the priests chanted the glory of Pancreator and the Empire of Man - bravely raising against all adversity.
Cities are being erected, and forges churn out weapons of war. No respite will be given to the xenos.
On Daishan, fiery inferno rained upon Symbiot hives, sparing neither Xildur nor Xyll.
On De Moley, a bold attack lead by Lady Yusara broke through the bulwarks of a great Church's stronghold, wrestling the administrative control of the planet from misguided zealotry of Brothers Battle. The battle is far from over, as a great force of warrior monks still roams the wastelands, laying waste to all in their wake. Yet, the common men begin to see a hope for deliverance form the endless struggle, and flock to the banners of al-Malik and Decados.
On Madoc, peaceful takeover of the palace compound has been completed, and relations with Li Halan soar.
On Leagueheim, gains are always temporary, as the hordes of Golems never tarry too long before retaking whatever tiny beachhead can be secured. Yet, the palace was symbolically captured this year. Admittedly, it was pretty much undefended after Li Halan troops ravaged through its defences a few years back, and is likely to be recaptured back in no time, but some satisfaction remains.
Progress is the word on everybody's lips these days. Let's hope it stays there for good.

Regarding Lord Alvarex's inquiry in the case of Holy Terra - Lord Ibn Donald would like to suggest that the task of pacifying the old home of now-deposed Patriarch be granted to the Hazat. No other house can boast a sufficiently martial spirit to take upon such grave burden. While House Hawkwood proposed to share in the effort, we feel that they should focus all their might on pacifying the Muster strongholds on Bannockburn, and not allow themselves any distractions.
Our Lady Regent has proven time and again to be the beacon of honour and duty, and her house troops have no match on the battlefield. Who else could be trusted with extending the protection of the Empire over the stranded peons of Terra?
-Lady Yusara, Protector of Criticorum, conqueror of De Moley
