Okay, so I have 360 points, plus another 8 from having 4 left over, for a total of 368.

I'll spend 300 points to train Cerol up to Grand Master Knife User, and another 56 points train him to Adept Dodger. His updated stats:

-Cerol Trollbane, Monster Slayer- managed by DS
Crundle Male: 360 + 364 points
[Equipment]
- Steel Large Dagger, 64 points
[Skills]
- Grand Master Knife User, 525 points
- Adept Dodger (tiny), 123 points
Left over: 12 points
See, this is what I was afraid of.  The little buggers with their obscene points are going to wipe the floor with everyone :o

Tiny people have late game strength while large creatures have early game strength, unless whips are involved.

That seems like a decent trade-off to me. Plenty of us tiny creatures died to bigger creatures in the first elimination.

TORTOX THE SLY- LEVEL UP

I have 290 pts to spend.

Sell Bronze Helm: +12
Buy Adamantine Helm: -144
Skilled to Expert Dodger: -130
Talented to Adept Kicker: -28
----------------------------------------------
Balance: 0

And thus, the most dope hat in all the lands was made

The better the hat, the less likely it is Klackon will slam Tortox's skull through his brain with a single lash.

Here is what I imagine is a masterfully crafted, gem-incrusted adamantine helmet.

It'd be interesting trying to fit a platypus bill in that.

It didn't work well against Thurr although I don't think you will see him after this fight.

Spoiler: Rovod the Red: Level I (click to show/hide)

Rovod level up! I have 246(?) points to spend.

Sell iron spear: +20
Sell copper mail shirt: +15
Sell copper cap: +6.25
Steel Spear: -80
Bronze Cap: -20
Bronze mail shirt: -48
Bronze mail leggings: -28

Competent -> Proficient Speardwarf: -45
Competent -> Skilled Fighter: -12
Competent -> Skilled Armor User: -8
Competent -> Proficient Dodger: -45

Cost: -244.75
Extra Points: 1.25

That leaves us with:

It might bite me to invest so heavily in armor user so early on, but if Rovod survives long enough to get more heavy equipment he'll be a terrifying opponent because of it, and it'll allow him to keep the edge the armor gives him in longer fights in the short term.

Alrighty, I'll be updating the gladiators soon and getting ready to start some action. Though I would like it for whoever plans on hosting the loser's battle royale to do it before I begin.

Alrighty, so I'm thinking next tourney will see tiny creatures have their points scaled back a bit. And some buff to huge creatures as well, perhaps some scaling points as the tourney goes on so they do not fall behind so quickly?

I reckon that would be good! And if they already get a huge point bonus/penalty for being small/huge, does the dodge discount/markup really make sense? I might be overthinking that, but i dunno.
