T'was a good fight. I didn't know scourges were so powerful.

Unless it's changed in the new version whips are more akin to lightsabers than anything else.

I increased the cost from last tourney, but I may have to do even more whip balancing, at the end of the day though. People are still going to want to use lightsabers.

Oh it doesn't bother me at all, I was more commenting on how they actually act in game mechanics rather than their tournament cost.

I've been playing around with them in Adventure mode and they aren't terribly OP. They have a tendency to fracture bones though, and that has a tendency to make most humanoids give in to pain.

See, due to a bug in game mechanics, whips are basically super-sonic bullets. They get ridiculous speed no matter what material they're made up of, and the low surface area of contact means they puncture you like your armor was made of jello.

Lucan Stone the unbreakable

He would die before seeing his name forgotten.

I reread this backstory and it made that battle much harder to swallow. He died before he could do much.

Lucan Stone's search for purpose should become a life quest for his family line. Wouldn't it be cool to see his descendants carry on the torch in future tournaments? A clan destined to have their name carved into stone, even if they have to stand on the backs of their fallen fathers to reach such a lofty quest?

I know for a fact that if Uncle Dorian somehow perishes in the tournament that there's a spider nephew ready to take up the cause for next time.

It's a shame too, if Lucan had advanced you would have had some crazy points to spend.

My soldier ant woman had three shields. Three.

Not a single time was she able to block an attack.
