My match looks fun, from what I gather comparing the two I figure it's going to come down to who gets in the first shot. Very similar in skills so I'm hoping it turns into a total brawl.

I do not envy "Uncle" Dorian right now, Silver Bull is looking strong.

If Dorian wins, can you imagine how scared of him the rest of us will be, lol?

There's only one thing I can say. That Elf is going down. And I don't mean she'll lose. I mean she'll go six feet underground!

A scorpion man!!???

I don't think this will go well for me...

Yeah, Kieran will probably be Hokiak's dinner. Sorry for your loss. (cue maniacal laughter)

In all seriousness though armor and steel versus claws and sting who knows.

I wonder how many lashes it takes to stop a moose man... It might get intense.

I just realized that, if by chance, all the lightweight gladiators were to fight in one bracket, and the heavy ones in the other, the light weight finalist would be much more powerful than the heavy one, since the advantage of being heavy is static, while having more points gets better at every round.

Elimination I Match I
Thud the Mad VS. Dengu the Impaler

Well, well, well, here we are again at the second monthly gladiator tournament, thank you all for coming! We've many fierce competitors ready to show their metal, let's welcome both Thud and Dengu!

These two humes have come quite a ways to be a part of this glourious tourney, we have Thud the Mad, straight from his hermit shack in some remote mountains, this insane gladiator has come to prove his worth, or perhaps he simply wants to shed the blood of people just like him?

And we also have Dengu the Impaler, channeling his inner Vlad Tepes this guy brings along a mighty spear. His namesake obviously shows it, but he has impaled a total of three hundred and sixty-two creatures, at least by his own word. These two gladiators weigh in at about 70,000 Urists, truly this'll be an interesting match up!

Ouch! That was one bloody match, dare I say the most bloody fight I've ever seen in all my time!. Hell, I think a finger landed in my tea! Here I thought it was a shoe in for Dengu at the beginning but man oh man Thud really pulled it off, well done with all those limb removals.

That was only the first match of our fine tourney, and already it is proving to be a massacre, stay tuned kiddos, you won't want to miss this one!

Dengu almost had it! Reminiscent of The Mountain and the Red Viper.

Elimination I Match II
Lady Varano the Proud VS. Thurr the Animal

And here we have two opposite sides of a coin. On one end, a wise and noble she-elf clad in metal. On the other, a ferocious beast of a man lusting for blood.

Should be fun huh? Our Lady Varano has come from her noble tree court, not disclosing the reason however, perhaps she seeks honor or was she exiled? Whatever the case, she is a powerful fighter to the tune of 60,000 Urists.

Thurr the Animal, what can be said? This hyena man beast drives slaves in his spare time. When not doing so he enjoys murder, torture, pain, and fine dining. Dining on delicious elf-flesh that is! Can our Lady hope to defeat this 65,000 Urist monster?

Spoiler: Battle Log (click to show/hide)

A much shorter match than the first! With a vicious onslaught of lashes the she-elf wasn't even able to act! With a few powerful swings of that scourge, Thurr was able to brain the poor girl, looming over her corpse to get that flighty smell of elf blood.

Elimination I Match III
Lucan the Unbreakable VS. Rovod the Red

Ahhh, smell that? Yep, we still didn't fully get rid of that melted dwarf smell from Cerol Chickenkicker's dunk in the boiling magma. Welcome to heat stroke, where we've two more combatants raring to go!

Welcome Lucan the Unbreakable everyone! Will this poorly skilled human even come close to standing a chance against a dwarven veteran? Doubtful, but maybe the kid can surprise us. After all, he wishes to perish before seeing his name forgotten. This 70,000 Urist human has dreams.

And ironically the late mister Chickenkicker's manager has brought along another dwarf to heat stroke, will this 60,000 Urist guy share the same fate as his predecessor? Or will his spear drip red with the blood of poor Lucan? Let's find out!

Another short match huh? And no magma baths, what a shame. No matter, well done Rovod. Your spearwork was exemplary, though I am unsure if it is a worthwhile victory what with the fact that you killed an unskilled youngun.
