Well it changes lol SAO has thousands of enemies all with different stats that change over time.

Except it'd still have a vague range for levels and stuff.

I guess, down to twin to answer this but every type of enemy and boss will differ so an average number probably won't tell you much.

So um. I'm tempted not to bring this up because it would nerf me but.

You might consider putting a max starting point on stats to prevent someone from, say

Putting seventy-two points in Agility and being straight immune to anything that isn't basically a guaranteed hit on anyone else.

That's just asking for the first boss to have an ability the makes your stats negative.

That's just asking for the first boss to have an ability the makes your stats negative.

Except it can't hit because even at a guarenteed hit, it only has about a quarter chance of hitting.

And bosses are a bit in. With grinding hitting 100 would be STUPID EASY right now.

Keep in mind most people were like... level 20 by the time that first boss got fought or something? Someone get us a screeny with a level at the time maybe?

And if you just increase accuracy so that it compensates for absurdly high AGI, the monsters will basically never miss with anyone but god-tier agility.

Falls into the same trap as the others, but even with lower damage?

Still allows a build like I made where you do respectable damage and then just spam defense break until their resistance doesn't matter.

The problem is even with onslaught, they need an attack with 72% acc in order to have even a 1% chance of hitting me.

At level ONE.

And if they're built to scale with normal people, they're probably swinging with something closer to fifty or sixty percent.

meaning they could roll a 120 on a d100 and STILL MISS.

Basically, remember the whole speech Kirito did on the bridge where he basically said they could keep attacking him all day and it wouldn't mean shit because they simply didn't deal enough damage to count for jack shit?

That.

but for accuracy.

I mean, no reason you can't fight with a group, but that kind of overspecialization should be a problem.

It's pretty much ideal.

Just figure out the curve at which creatures increase their accuracy and then keep levelling your AGI to stay well ahead of it.

In theory, accuracy scales faster than dodge, but probabilities cap at 100%, meaning that level above that counts for jack shit.

And Evasion is applied LAST. WHich means even with perfect accuracy, someone with 100% evasion is literally untouchable.

Though for less sillyness obviously anything above 100 just counts as a buffer against dodge.

Of course, all I need is a couple levels and I can pick up Dex Break too.

meaning that I can make it so that shit has an even HARDER time hitting me. <.<
