If BMC hadn't replaced out, would you still be voting him?
Maybe? Certainly not now.

If you had to daykill somebody immediately, who would it be?
Who do you think? 4maskedwolves, or Persus13 after reading further.

Everyone: Let's say I was able to see somebody's flavour text. Let's say that flavour text was something along the lines of "You're playing Mafia in a Mafia game." Let's say the person who had that flavour text was Persus13. Lynch him, right?
Do I agree? Yeah sounds suspicious, Persus13.

Cheeetar and Toony, who did you inspect besides Persus/Cheeetar, apply as appropriate?
My response? I said before my Night 1 action was useless, and it's because I targeted Shakerag.

My reasoning? I was curious about what I would get, however it was a dumb decision in hindsight.

Why? Well, for one, Cheeetar redirected the lynch to a mafia member.

What does that mean? Something, it could mean BMC is town or BMC really is mafia and their team was having very bad luck.

In conclusion? Maybe, certainly not now.

That's some pretty bizarre reasoning. OSG turning out to be a member of the mafia doesn't negate what suspicion there was on BMC just because he had the most votes prior to the redirect.

Shakerag: No, because he hasn't posted enough, but I haven't found anyone else more suspicious that BMC.

Shakerag:
Might as well tell you that I'm the medium. More of a small, really. In any case, the only semi-interesting deadchat shenanigans has been Jack saying that he and OSG were on the same scumteam and NQT confirming that he was trying to get people to think he was a jester.
Ah, missed that.

IronyOwl:  Give me your impression of Lenglon's scumhunting so far this game.
I've been mostly ignoring her as not worth the effort, so I'd have to go back to get a proper analysis.

However, from what I've skimmed over out of the corner of my eye, it seems more or less like I'd expect: She's doing things, but they're obfuscated and likely less effective due to her restriction/commitment.

4maskwolf, TheDarkStar, IronyOwl, Lenglon:  Are any of you four voting Shamrock for any post-replacement reasons?
Yes. As mentioned, one of his first posts after replacing in was to state:

Don't assume I'll have even a rough idea of what you say and I'll likely disregard it, as you can easily twist it to your own ends without being false.
"I'm really concerned about you guys realizing I'm scum, so I'm not going to answer any questions that require game knowledge because otherwise you'll twist it into framing poor lil innocent me."

That is not the opening spiel of an innocent man.

Cheeetar:
Everyone: Let's say I was able to see somebody's flavour text. Let's say that flavour text was something along the lines of "You're playing Mafia in a Mafia game." Let's say the person who had that flavour text was Persus13. Lynch him, right?
Quite likely.

However...
Well given that the actual flavor text is that I'm playing Mafia I'd say differently. Playing Mafia could mean you were either playing Mafia as in the alignment or the game type. Considering my role name is Department of Redundancy Department and I know my alignment is Town, I know its referring to the second one considering the first one isn't actually redundant and the flavor text tends to somewhat correspond with the role name.

There are two valid interpretations of 'Playing Mafia in a Mafia game'- that you're playing the game Mafia in a Mafia game, or that you're playing AS Mafia in a Mafia game. I think it's the second interpretation that's valid here, though, so I'm going to keep voting for you. Other flavour texts for mafia were, except for Jack A T, fairly obvious with the whole 'being Mafia' thing, especially, OSG's.
Does the first interpretation work or not?

No, I don't need Persus13 to claim anything. It'd be good to keep an eye on him, though. I'll unvote for him once I find somebody I find scummier- I'll try going over the game and finding some suspicious stuff within a day or so.
And why do you suddenly change your mind about whether he's scum?

IronyOwl, were you converted to mafia during the night? I notice that Day 1 you were completely and utterly Town, but that's not the deal for Day 3.
That was a start of the game thing, not a beginning of each Day so long as I'm still Town thing. I'm still completely and utterly Town.

Being town 8)
Go on.

Toony:

Who do you think? 4maskedwolves, or Persus13 after reading further.
I just now realized you have a posting restriction. Or decision.

Why are you ignoring my other question?

Unvote Persus13.
Shakerag, are you suspicious of anybody but ToonyMan right now? I haven't noticed you scumhunting too much- some questioning, sure, but no hunting. Are you waiting for a target to present itself?

Spoiler: Irony Owl (click to show/hide)

The flavour text is a lead, but in light of the completely valid alternate interpretation it's not a strong one. I was jumping him to see if he'd crack, but his role name makes sense and I don't see anything particularly scummy about his response.

IronyOwl, were you converted to mafia during the night? I notice that Day 1 you were completely and utterly Town, but that's not the deal for Day 3.

[Doubt]

Being town 8)
Go on.

I wanted to use it early, and I wanted OSG dead for being so scummy. I'm actually not that concerned with upholding a democratic approach to the game if it doesn't help us win- I was fairly certain it was the right move and that was enough for me.

Guys, I'm tired. I'll try to post a vote count tomorrow morning, but long day at the not-really-an-office-but-kinda-an-office. Anyhow, I'll be back with one in like 8 hours hopefully.

Guys, I'm tired.
I'm sorry!  (´Д`)

Cheeetar:  Honestly?  I'm still trying to bug the shit out of webadict to figure out how exactly to use my role.  And, admittedly, bullshitting with Jack A T in deadchat.

So far, the day feels a bit underwhelming for the second day (technically).  At least a handful of players are not really participating, and that puts a huge downer on things.

ToonyMan:
My response? I said before my Night 1 action was useless, and it's because I targeted Shakerag.

That's either one of the dumber decisions I've seen made, or one of the saddest attempts at creating a N1 alibi.
I wanted to vote you right away for that, but that's such a terrible cover story for making a NK that I just can't wrap my mind around you being scum and trying to cover your ass that way.  I'm going to be really, really mad at both myself and you if you're really scum.

4maskwolf:  What do you think about ToonyMan claiming to have tried to action me N1?

Irony:
Comrade:
Hello everyone, I'm BMC's replacement. This is my first BYOR so forgive me if I'm not as savvy as the rest of you in regards to the weird roles that pop up and if you want to use an example from a previous BYOR link it. Don't assume I'll have even a rough idea of what you say and I'll likely disregard it, as you can easily twist it to your own ends without being false.
What is this? "If I don't like your question I'll ignore it because otherwise you might use it to prove that I'm scum?"
No, but I think I see where you're coming from. I could have used punctuation a little better. The green part relates to me asking for the links if you want to use a previous example. There are fourteen BYORs and I'm not going to go trawling through them all to try and find one little thing with only a vague idea of what it is.

Lenglon:
Quote
Cheetar no response -> no pressure. Shakerag part 1 crazy 2/3 defense.
I understood most of this. But yeah you'll still have to answer my previous question

no response -> no pressure

What the hell does this mean? I'd really like to know. Cheetar didn't respond to BMC's which applied no pressure answer so BMC/Me are scummy. How does that relate? Do you know something about Cheetar the rest of us don't? Seems unlikely he'd be scum since he redirected a lynch onto a mafia member.

TDS:
Comrade Shamrock: Why are you asking me? It looks suspiciously like you're buddying because I haven't had a major part in this today.

To answer the question, though: I'm still suspicious about you from BMC's actions yesterday. It's possible that BMC could have just been acting oddly and that you're town, but I wouldn't mind seeing you flip your role right now.
Simple answer, you're familiar. I have not played with Irony or Shakerag. I have not had the best experience with getting answers out of Tiruin for one reason or another. Persus does not seem to here that often. Cheetar and 4mask already asked questions.
