Other Noteworthy Thing: Praise webadict! Day and night starts are linked in the OP!
This.  This is a thing that needs to happen, like, from now on.  It's so wonderful.

Cheeetar:
NQT: What was with the secret doctrine?
Attention called.  You're past due.

Also in regards to Persus13:
You're playing Mafia (the role) in a Mafia game
You're playing Mafia (the game) in a Mafia game

Two very different meanings.  The first sentence is a declarative.  The second sentence is redundant.

Also, flavor inspection seems like a lame power  >_>  You would literally gain no information from my role's flavor (well, nothing you didn't already know).  Which makes me wonder if some (most?) role flavors are meant to convey information, or at least be potentially misinterpretable.

IronyOwl:  Give me your impression of Lenglon's scumhunting so far this game.

Tiruin:  Give me your impression of IronyOwl's scumhunting so far this game.

Friggin ninja'd, but-

Well given that the actual flavor text is that I'm playing Mafia I'd say differently. Playing Mafia could mean you were either playing Mafia as in the alignment or the game type. Considering my role name is Department of Redundancy Department and I know my alignment is Town, I know its referring to the second one considering the first one isn't actually redundant and the flavor text tends to somewhat correspond with the role name.

There are two valid interpretations of 'Playing Mafia in a Mafia game'- that you're playing the game Mafia in a Mafia game, or that you're playing AS Mafia in a Mafia game. I think it's the second interpretation that's valid here, though, so I'm going to keep voting for you. Other flavour texts for mafia were, except for Jack A T, fairly obvious with the whole 'being Mafia' thing, especially, OSG's.

I think I already answered that, but NQT has said that he intended to get lynched and resurrect so that people would assume he was a jester and he'd be free to investigate without interference.

Cheeetar, I'd be more inclined to believe that Persus' flavour is of the second interpretation, since the first isn't particularly redundant and it gave the impression of a deliberate false lead even before his role came up.

Also, word from the dead people:

NQT claims that the secret doctrine stuff was half serious (if he says what patterns are scum-indicative scum often do change their play-style but that's more an argument for waiting until D2 or 3 before bringing out the full analysis) but the complete lack of explanations was just him goading weaker players into lynching him so he could flip jester, revive, and then be ignored for the rest of his cop career. Obviously it didn't work as one of us chuckleheads killed him.

He also says that the flavour-description push on Persus is probably misguided. If he was Wuba and had a flavour-inspect, he'd include at least one person who looked like mafia in their flavour. If persus is up for the chop though they should claim a power that fits their redundancy department claim.

Jack AT says that NQT is a liar who lies and is secretly scum.

No, I don't need Persus13 to claim anything. It'd be good to keep an eye on him, though. I'll unvote for him once I find somebody I find scummier- I'll try going over the game and finding some suspicious stuff within a day or so.

Might as well tell you that I'm the medium. More of a small, really. In any case, the only semi-interesting deadchat shenanigans has been Jack saying that he and OSG were on the same scumteam and NQT confirming that he was trying to get people to think he was a jester.
Yes, and?

I can confirm that Deus is accurately relaying deadchat info.

Although, technically, Jack A T said that NQT was a big liar who lies and is secretly scum.

Also, deadchat is hilarious.

Alright then? I can almost confirm that Cheeetar is indeed town, I targeted them with an action Night 2 and got a convincing result.
Recruit comes before inspect in webadict's action order.  So that would mean that:

Cheeetar and ToonyMan are both town.
Cheeetar could be anything and ToonyMan is lying about having an inspect-like ability.
Cheeetar was converted to Mafia-Ally and ToonyMan is scum.

webadict:  If a player is converted into a Mafia-Ally, would the scumteam get notified of the alignment shift?  Would the new Mafia-Ally receive any information about the scumteam?

Cheeetar and Toony, who did you inspect besides Persus/Cheeetar, apply as appropriate?
