Post-Apocalyptia: Reboot. OOC/Discussion

Humanity, being humanity, won't be scared off by a little thing called nuclear annihilation.

Sure enough, during the late 21st century, everything went to shit. One missile was fired, and every nuclear capable nation on the planet fired theirs off in retaliation, which really didn't turn out too well for, well, anyone, reducing cites of millions into molten slag.

To make matters worse, biological and chemical warfare in the form of mutagenic viruses and toxins were also thrown into the crucible, changing the dynamics of the planet's ecosystem forever.

The world has cooled down though, now, and humanity is reforging the remnants of civilization into something new. So, how do you fit into it?


Reboot of a reboot spinoff of a spinoff. More information to come, but it'll be a post-apocalyptic RPG. Trading, scavenging, repairing, fighting, all that jazz.

Mostly done with a sheet, but a question: what does each stat actually do? I think that might be important.

Strength: How strong you are. Good for lifting and punching things.
Perception: How good your senses are. Good for working with small, complex things, and for finding things before they find you.
Endurance: How long you can stay up. Good for not dying and running really far.
Charisma: How easily you can shittalk people into giving you what you want.
Intelligence: Pretty damn obvious.
Agility: How agile your body parts are. Good for doing things quickly or quietly.
Luck: Feeling lucky?

Mad max was a pretty good movie, I must say. Your race gives you +5 to Repair and Survival but -5 to speech and barter.

Looks good, although you need to explain what 'fighting' (the perk) is.

This guy again. I may have to be reasonable with your perk, as you won't be able to throw a minigun without penalty.

I forgot to mention skills cap at 10, so I put the extra point in luck and gave you another bonus point in luck, too (please take this humble offering and don't make me restat).
