Has the stream been posted anywhere yet?

I haven't seen one, but if you finagle with the youtube stream, you can probably get to when they did it.

Is it wrong if I want more cinematics? I really like the Advent News things that we've seen so far.

You should really look to the wilderness for your stealth ideas, it has been doing it much longer than you have after all. Take squids for example, that ink trick works pretty well, and in water too! So you just sneak into the dam upsteam, dump several megatons of distressed squid into it, then break the dam. Boom, you suddenly have enough water-proof stealth for a whole city!

Couldn't find anything, but this saved stream has it starting at around 01.30. Is that a snakeman as the ADVENT speaker at the start, by the way? He's got the neck spots and the glasses, and he's a bit... off. Advanced infiltration!

If advent has them we can have them as well.
Ya have to steal a body first tho.

I love how the escape was hilariously contrived.

- Berserker runs up and sends the girl flying.
- Friendly runs over and picks her up.
- Runs to the skyranger evac zone.
- Berserker just stands there watching him pick her up and run.

Surely enough its turn based but hilarious if you think how it had to look in real time

GOTTA GO FAST!

Anyway... so aliens got better with thinmen.
The speaking guy didn't look so alien anymore.

They skinned the mutons and took their armor off. i'm not sure if its much of an improvement.
The snakelady apparently oneshots people with that tongue and the sword is enough to oneshot the snakelady.

In the after discussion they explain the demo was scripted to expedite things and the Snakemen wrap and the melee won't be quite as powerful in the final game. The wrap will be more like the Seekers.

Yeah. A lot of that was scripted or tutorial/demo flair. Definitely enough actual gameplay there to give a general feel of XCOM 2 though.

You misspelled seance.  Are possessing Draignean?  Are you actually a ghost in the shell? You have to tell us if you are, that's the rule

It seems like a small thing, but I really like the new XCOM color scheme.

They LITERALLY gave a demo presentation of X-Com suicide bombing a monument during a mass celebration. The fucking bomb was the shape of the X-Com sigil. Even the presenter had to nervously chuckle about how you're the "good invaders".

In addition:
-PUNISHED BRADFORD CONFIRMED (Different VA, but I can hear some old Bradford in there, I can believe it's him after 20 years of grimdark.)
-True Thin Men Sighted
-Berzerkers are female and naked, prepare for R34 storm
-ADVENT have weird brown-green blood, X-Com still have red blood.
-Possible confirmation that the game will not be afraid to just throw endgame enemies at your rookies.
-Extraction of the Dead confirmed.
-Overwatch Cascade
-MECs Confirmed

Man, watching all that, while cool, just made me realize how much I enjoy the tense "Don't know where the aliens are" game play of XCOM. Sneaking around to position on clueless enemies is a different thing entirely, and cool....but all this is making me wish for more defend Earth XCOM though :(

Now...the only question I have, the whole thing of the enemies get dropped into the area and immediately get to take a full turn will be a standard thing or something just for the demo?
edit: or maybe its something for the harder difficulties ;D
