The scarred man glared at Alaria intently.
: "Do not. Call me. A Thief."
: "And 'turning' isn't what I do. I do business, lady. Did business back then, doing business right now."

"You were captured as a thief, a thief is what I'll call all of you."

: "Tch." Kaldach grunted before facing towards the village, "You'll change your tune in time, canary girl."

Julia was elated to see her mount again, ignoring anything the dumb half-elf had to say, as well as pretty much everything else for that matter, as she stroked her partner's chestnut mane.

"Oh Gespy, it's so good to see you again! They fed and groomed you well right?"

The pegasus neighed in response, whether Julia could actually understand it was up for debate, and although Alaria was likely not responsible for such things a glare was cast at her regardless. Instead of trying to glare a hole through their escort all day Julia turned to the girl on a wyvern.

"Hey, I'll race ya to the village."

Julia moves to I14.

What Kaltsar had taken away from Alaria's threat was that, if they wanted to do anything on their own, they would either have to relieve Alaria of her talismans, or slit her throat. The former was a much more pleasant option.

"Tch. I don't see why we have to help these useless people. Way I see it, a bandit is just a guy that people won't give a chance, so they gotta do what they gotta do to survive."

Taftan knew he'd have to do what she said, though. While that woman had those talismans, he couldn't do much other than gripe. He would just have to wait for an opportunity to steal them.

Taftan to E8.

Kaldach narrowed his eyes at Taftan.
: "Best watch what you're comparin', pal. Pillaging and murder are a long shot from petty thievery. Bit beyond 'what they gotta do', 'less they're too pathetic to drop their pride to chew on scraps or do their own work."

"Hmph. I agree with the little man. Then again, I am here, so their fate is doomed anyways."

"So, dwarf fella, what is your name? I didn't catch it last time."

: "I don't race..." Keyleth started to say, but the pegasus rider was already long gone. Sigh. The perfectly-normal human girl gave Arrna a reassuring pat on the neck and took off.

Taft looked up at the bald guy.

"I don't know yours either. But whatever, most call me Taft."

He looked over at Kaldach.

"We're all brothers outside of the law. If we don't look out for each other, sure as hell no one else will."

"Korhal, son of Qhorin, who is a god, and whom has bestowed me with interesting powers." He looked to the north.

"You might have a chance to witness them during incoming fight."

Taft nodded to the shamaness to show he appreciated the back-up.

"Is that so, Korhal?"

The dwarf sniffed and rubbed at his nose. He'd believe that when he saw it.
