This machine is at 0 FPS... It is a laptop with a Celeron, 32kb L1 cache, and 2 GB DDR4, running Kubuntu. I leave for hours, come back, then review the soundsense log output to see what happened.

There is something to be said about, if the stakes are as high, maybe reconsider your certitudes. One has to be aggressively allistic to feel entitled to be able to trust. But it won't happen to me, my bit doesn't count etc etc... Just saying, after my recent experiences I couldn't trust the public if I wanted to. People got their risk assessment neurons rotten and replaced with game theory. Folks walk around like fat turkeys taunting the world to slaughter them.

Merchants refused to leave and their Yaks even gave birth to a calf (marked as friendly, not merchant).

One of my farmers apparently got bit by a werelizard, he turned back into a dwarf, though. I don't think he killed anyone.

I don't know whether bugs have bugged the werebeast aggro up, but you could feed him captured gobbos for fun. Get a bitten-but-alive gobbo set up in his own room and feed him more gobbos near the end of the full moon and you could have an army of unstoppable gobbo-weres.

Strip any prisoners you throw in, by the by, because IIRC biting through cloth does not pass on the curse.

A Giant Grey Squirrel showed up and one of the bards jumped into the fray dual-wielding two of his manuscripts. Amazingly (or not), he gets the final killing blow in with one of his works on a forest retreat. This guy is going places.

Given current events, I've altered my profile pic and I'm sorry it took so long to fix. If you find the old one on any of my accounts elsewhere on the internet, let me know by message (along with the specific site) and I'll fix. Can't link the revised avatar for some reason.

Any sort of bite that draws actual blood will pass it on IIRC.

Any attack that let's the WB's saliva enter blood works. But if the animal in question has dull teeth and low biter Skill, clothing may stop the bite or convert it to mere bruising.

Hmmm... Probably a fan of whips too. For both threshing and fetishes! Now I'm picturing a shirtless dwarf in a broad hat and leather pants smiling with a piece of wheat in his mouth and a whip in hand...
