Kumo's soul looks deranged and chaotic, there's so much that it's next to impossible to see what it actually should look like.
Red there, green there, black there, it's a garbled mess, but this corruption has not yet spread itself to his core. But it's getting there.
What of his soul core you can see is clearly blue and fiery, but says little to nothing else about him.

When Eve's soul is glimpsed, the Reaper would likely be surprised to find that she doesn't appear to... have one.

And then they'd notice that for some reason nearly the entire hallway is discolored in shades of black, red, and pink when they have their soul vision turned on, growing more intense the closer it gets to Eve herself.
