I mean, if you go by that definition, they aren't even needed as I'd imagine that Tor's indiscriminate Malice would have sufficient quantities of that towards Larissa (and everyone else for that matter) already. And he's already suppressing it already. So by that definition, he's technically in love with her already. Also, by that definition, he's technically in love with everyone
