Facilitators would be general, like helmets.

-edit-

And also like gasmasks and... Man, you guys haven't been designing much infantry stuff, have you?

We really haven't. Hm. Maybe after the combat logs from next turn, we should see what our troops want. We'll see if there's anything infantry-wise that we really need to consider most importantly.

I mean, what kind of shotguns are you intending for us to look for? Just shotguns in general? Whatever we can get our hands on? Shotguns believed to be the best of their kind?

I'll abstain from the More Shotguns vote until Funk gives some more details.
Idealy more of the Winchesters.

Agree, plus that's about the LAST thing *I* want to see from this kind of game - author spending valuable development time on useless graphics.

Unofficial slogan of Bay 12 Games.

Death to the false emperor a warhammer40k SG

Well... At least we have mechanized warfare. That's always useful.

Alright, seems reasonable.

POACs are perfect in every way, clearly, especially with their 6 man squad capacity. POACs too stronk for Nationalist Spain. Delicious taste of 45mm shell to fascist faces, my friend!

EDIT: Wait no we're Plokhoy Ostrovians, not Soviets... What would Plokhoy Ostrov's national anthem be?

No tracks.

Not yet at least. huehue

Just you guys wait, once we need a tank destroyer I'm going to propose some sort of monstrosity based off the ZIS-30. I actually quite admire it. It's certainly an interesting.. thing.

After some time though, we may want to start thinking about making a tank.

Proposal:

Add tracks to all of the mechanized things we have. Including the submarines.

Well, looks like the proposials going ahead are:
D1.2
POAC Varients (Which should be its own thing, due to it generally modifying the POAC-B(ase) for stuff... Just saying. Its not just designing a new truck...)
D2
Pusher plane interceptor (Hey, another one. Interceptor that is, not pusher plane)
D3
Arty form of the HiLo (Ah, you guys know it can be used as that, yes? It just dosent have a carriage for it... Currently they are all used in custom housings and/or ship turrets...)
D5
  Webbing and armor

C1
Build a drydock for the mass-production factory, for 1000ton vessels
C2
 Four line munitions factory
C3
 Four line large-arms
C6
  Vehicular factory complex, consisting of:
1x four line vehicular engine factory
    1x two line vehicular factory
(As a note, this WILL be built outside of the main factory complex. Possibly on a different island, it depends on the rolls and/or whim.)

A1
Get some more Winchester M1897 trench variant shotguns.
(If you dont care if they are the trench variant, say so.)
F1
Retooling LA2 for 40mm cannon and 20mm AAA cannon

Unless anyone massively objects to any of this, the voting goes on to who does what, with the below list doing it all.

Pardon? I'm not sure I understand what you're saying.

I believe this one was designed specifically for the purpose of artillery. However; this shall be kept in mind if we decide to design more cannons and such.

I suppose it doesn't really matter. Sure, trench variant.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now, for the team assignments which I found to be a bit problematic:

-After assigning the Materials Team to the Facilitators, I realized that I had missed the POAC variants assignment.
Either we assign both the POAC Variants job and the Facilitators job to the Materials Team, or we have the Naval Engineering Team step in (which sounds horrible considering what happened last time).
Quote from: Aseaheru, probably, if we assigned the Facilitators to the Naval Engineering Team
It seems the naval engineering team had literally no idea what they were doing and instead of making the requested design for Facilitators, they made a flotation vest. Even then, they had many difficulties.

-We have, in my opinion, too few "special" personnel.

I think what we should do is:
-Have the materials team do both the Facilitators and the POAC Variants job, but focus on the POAC Variants job first. It doesn't really matter if they don't get the Facilitators done this turn either. My logic is as follows: We don't even have any spare factory lines to produce any of the Facilitators. Next turn, I would suggest we try to get some more special personnel (A few architects, few more materials engineers maybe, etc., we'll discuss it later.)

1.1 and 1.3 are design new trucks. 1.2 is take the POAC-B and make a bunch of variants of it, which includes one for cargo.

I would never do that to you.

You know, you /could/ build some sort of training school, or assign a group to training themselves... And while I admit that I never told you guys that those where options, well, thats where freeform games come in.

Or you could try getting designers from other areas.

Who knows! They'd (you'd) find a way. :P

Ah, alright. I never though of that. I'll try to think much more broadly in the future.
