((Do you go for the skeletons first or try to defeat the demon before they get to you?))

((Skeletons so we can kill the ?weaker? ones first before fighting the leader.))

You charge for the summoned skeletons shoulder checking the first one making it fall apart, the second one you swing out and as the sword makes contact it dies too.
One jumps for you but you bash it with the buckler killing it. The third swings a short sword at you but you perry it with yours and strike it down. The larger demon charges for you but you knock it's blade out of the way with the buckler and it knocks bout of you down. You have lost hold of your sword so you grab a near by dagger and slice the demon's throat open. It's blood pours out on your face but it is now dead. The spirit sword turns back into the open tome. There is a red and black aura around it and you can faintly hear voices calling you to it.

((You are one of the angels of judgment (there are multiple angels for each job incase one stops doing what they are supposed to do) you basicaly thought that the angels were being too harsh and that you couldn't stand seeing all the sad souls and such that you created so you started handing out free rides out of hell for those headed there. Someone found out and you got punished with getting kicked out (fallen angel) and having to hunt demons to make up for the evil you brought into the kingdom))

You get up and grab the book. As you hands touch it your scars begin to glow faintly and the voices become clear,"Flip the pages","Read it","one sentence can't hurt", "I bet you won't read it", "it's not like reading this will do anything to you","just read it", etc.

You decide to look at the book and read just a few sentence. It can't hurt can it? After all the old man didn't say to not read it. ((Just a side note angels understand how to read almost all languages))
The few words you read garden your heart. You have lost some of your mercy and have gained a demonic power, you can now cast a spell that causes the victim to feel tortured. You can only cast this once a day. Your glowing scars now glow a light red.
You decide to close the tome after trying to read more but it just seems like gibberish and words.

Put the book in our satchel.

((I would suggest we find somewhere to keep it safe and hide it before we go back to the chapel. Just in case.))

The book fills up the rest of the space in the satchel.

Go outside and look around.

You see the aura around the town is now much fainter and the chapel has changed from it's black demonic coating to a subtle white and the cross is no longer burning but now there un damaged.

There is a presence in the center of the town. You can see zombies headed there, you can hear chanting calling you towards the center of the town.
