You remember now, your name is DECHARD CAIN and you are TOTALLY NOT INFRINGING ON COPYRIGHT. You had entered the dungeon, what, three decades ago? For what? You recall it was something involving curiosity. Now that you're here, you're still curious about what lies below, but at some point it becomes obvious that pressing further downwards is not feasible for you and you settled down here. Being one of the older inhabitants of the town, you manage the guards and keep the monsters away. The best part about being down here would be that you get to pick among one of the finest fighters the world has to offer. The worst part is that they are too fearless and doesn't realize they die just like any other men.

You take your guns and stepped out of your quarter, walking through the barracks. You step out into the town's square. The sand rasped your boots. Above, the fake-sky flickered dubiously as the dungeon recharged. You hear the whistle of multiple arrows coming from the wall. It's dark save for the walls on the edge of town.

...Hopefully y'all play this straight. Because knowing -that- Cain (...given my brother has many books on that kind of lore in -that- game), that's some -big- shoes to fill.
But if we're seriously playing him, then oh goodness do we have a -really- nice guy.

Details on situation--does the town actually have any arrow-using folk that we may probably confuse as enemies?

As the CHIEF OF GUARDS and one of the governing force in Sitis, you don't recall a Wirt. A Virt, maybe. Virt, the one-armed girl, but not a Wirt. What kind of name is Wirt, anyways? It sounds like something that would INFRINGE ON COPYRIGHT.

You didn't quite catch where the sound came from, but you don't know yet whether it's just a typical skirmish or something worth waking up the town for.
