Move a square forward. Attack M1 with my quarterstaff using two hands. Use bonus unarmed action.

Move a square forward. Attack M1 with my quarterstaff using two hands.

"Look, friend! More fellas to dance with! They do look uglier though."

You approach and swing your staff using both your hands, (16 +6). You hit M1 on the back dealing (4) damage. Then when it is momentirlly phased by the blow you do a quick jab, (10+6). You missed by a hair.

((right I forgot to mention a rule, that I will be putting in place after this encounter. For ever/most roles that is like a check or attack or save. better/ worse thing will happen if you get above the needed number by so much, like if you miss a save by 5 of the needed number you will be punish a little more or if you attack and get 5 high then needed you will get a bonus  in some way. Critical and critical failure don't work to this, it is just be a really good or bad result. Any question just ask))

one step diagonaly northwest and attack m2 with longsword

You step forward and let loose a swing  with your long sword, (critical Failure). As you swing your sword, you let go of it flying at your enemies, (7+2) (18+2). the Mephit nimbly doges, but the longsword hits the kobold(K8) dealing (6) damage. the Kobold dies with a long sword sticking out of it crotch.

Kobold 5 steps forward and swings at Urax (( You guys are lucky, I didn't notice Kobold has Sunlight sensitivity)), (? or ? +? ). He bearly hits doing (5) damage.
Kobold 1 step forward and attacks Hatred, (? or ? +?), He misses just by a bit.
Kobold 4 steps forward and swings at the Monk, (? or ? +?). he misses by a lot.

Hatred laughs as the armored Dragonborn ((right?)) loses his blade as he dodges the oncoming blade narrowly.

"Those Mephits may be able to harm me, but I'm more then a match for these bastards. I'm surprised the guard couldn't keep these weaklings from storming the gate.

As for you, sir knight, perhaps you should tie that blade to your arm. You won't lose it that way."

"This is one terrible prophecy. The Gods must have really had a laugh over this one...." Calista grouses, moving quickly to eliminate the threat.

"Ugh, I mean...I strike for Helmyr!" She said, as a way of a war cry.

Action: Slice Kobold 5 in twain with my longsword.

+4 tohit
1d8+2 damage

Poison Spray the mephit in front of me. And if I can break free, do so.

"At least the gods had enough humor with Sir Knight over here with him throwing his sword everywhere. Know be a dear and don't do the same, I'd rather not surrender while surrounded by a bunch of incompetent guards and two knights with no weapons."

You extend your hand and green gas sprays out of it. The mud Mephit is unaffected by it.

(( FBD, might I suggest you use something to display character/enemy info per turn, like I use in my campaigns? It really helps both you and the players to keep track of things.

Here's an example thing.

You'll also note I use google docs spreadsheet for my own maps.

((I use a system with less spoilers, but also mind you I use autoCAD for my maps, and I have an excel sheet for my characters and whatnot. Plus, I do 4e, so I have the character builder so I can just keep everything there and send out sheets when need be))

((I like the map, but I don't think your character would know all of that info about the enemies unless you did like research, specially not the bonuses or special abilities. But I thanks for your help and I will think about it. I have a word document going, well 3, One for all the pc, 1 for npcs and battles and one currently for maps. I can understand health and i will from now one give hits to as how much health they have. But I want you guys to be almost int he chose of The adventure thinking as if you lived in that world almost. I thanks you again for you info and I will look into making a google doc but for this encounter I will stick with my current method of map making.

One question, when you need an new map do you just delete the old on or just make a new one?))

((One question, when you need an new map do you just delete the old on or just make a new one?))

((I usually just make a new spreadsheet. Resize the hexes to whatever you need, and color them in, add text for players/enemies/objects. No problem.

Also, even if you don't spoil the enemy abilities, it'd be nice to know which Orc is wielding a greatsword and which one is wielding a bow, for example.))
