Kerr visibly relaxed as the battle ended with the prince on his feet.

"Hey, healer, uh Irios? We could use some help up here, one of the mages took a couple of axes to the face."

Walking over to the prince, he grinned.

"Well that went well. Looks like the new people will be able to keep up just fine. Any luck finding the shard?"

[Glowcat]

With the battle taken care of, and Chance being tended to, Rashida begins examining the odd ruins around them, writing field notes and trying to remove anything that looked to be an interesting artifact of this alien culture for historical posterity.

"Neat."

Chance, faceplanted on the ground, only groaned.
"Rgh... Ow."

[Xanmyral]

By the time Aur clunked up to the main event, the bandit leader was already eating sand.

"Drat."

The knight-in-training sighed to himself and moved up further into the strange ruin after seeing his brother has the prince looked after, inspecting the odd metallic... Vines? Rods, he guesses. How peculiar, what do they do he wonders. He gave one a rap with a gauntlet-clad hand.

[Haspen]

"None. This boar didn't have it." Prince Aliberti stood up and pulled out the mirror. Then he rubbed it. The small glow on it pointed toward the corpse.

"This is very- oh." He looked at the corridor that the bandit leader was guarding, stepped over the corpse and then rubbed the mirror again.

"Oh, the shard is somewhere there." Prince spoke, looking at the ruins of a domed building with two huge chimneys, wider on top and the base and thinner in the middle. The Prince looked at the corpse again.

"Hmph, he was probably a bandit or some other thug... we might've ended the worries of some peasants with his death, right, Kerr?"

[GiglameshDespair]

Ayzebel whistled as she wiped blood off her knife.

"Heheh. That was fun."

She looked up as the Prince spoke.

"What strange architecture. Well, there is no sense delaying."

[Swordstar]

"That's right sir."

Taking a step closer, the soldier placed a hand on the prince's arm and quietly said to him,

"Ali... Sir... I know that you feel the need to hurry with this and obviously we do need to keep a steady pace but... You're injured. We can take a few moments. Rest, while Irios heals those who need it. It wouldn't do to have you rush around only to get killed because you ignored a wound."

[Haspen]

"And I thought you're not the one to be worried about such things? But fine." The Prince sat down on a flat piece of rubble.

Rashida broke off a bit of pipe. Pipe that had tiny pipes inside it. All of different colors. The pipes themselves hid tiny copper wires inside, apparently. Quite peculiar kind of pipe, not to mention it was rather floppy and soft.

Then, the wall that the pipe was previously attached to leaned to the side and crumbled right into the side of the corridor Prince and others were resting at. A big cloud of dust covered everything and everyone, except Rashida.

Prince stood up and coughed up a little, brushing his cape from the dust.

"Why."

[Swordstar]

"Ugh, well if I don't worry about you, who will? It's clear you won--

And then the wall collapsed on them. Coughing, Kerr waved his hand in front of his face, trying to clear some of the dust away.

"Maybe lets not tear this place down around ourselves."

[Glowcat]

Rashida blinks for a moment in confusion before turning to the prince and holding up her prize triumphantly.

"Artifacts."

[Haspen]

Prince looked at Rashida.

"For a moment there you looked like my younger sister Irmina after pulling a dead mouse from under a wardrobe..."

[F.O.E.]

"Hey, healer, uh Irios? We could use some help up here, one of the mages took a couple of axes to the face."

"Already there, Rainbow," Irios said as his staff began to glow and Chance's wounds healed.

When the dust armageddon happened he tried to duck into his cloak and pull the hood all the way down.

"Oh, I don't know sir. The way she caused destruction reminds me a bit of you when we were younger. Somehow I'm remembering a whole wing of the palace needing to be shut down because you somehow caused three of the pillars to collapse. What was your excuse then? Something about climbing practice?"

[Haspen]

"You forget I got Asha's leg broken with that and she couldn't walk for half a year. It's not a laughing manner, Kerr." The Prince grumbled quietly.
