So what happens when someone spawns in with a resurrection spell?
I find some way for it to horribly backfire.
It would revive them with a single Hit Point.

Hey, waitlisters didn't get added?
There's a one turn delay between death and waitlist addition.
It's been consistent the whole game, dude.

Jee wilikers, I think Highmax is near invulnerable, must have been dunked in the river styx like achilles was.
Just make sure he wears a boot.

Didn't notice that
I intentionally made it that way, in order to make it so there's at least some point to trying to keep your allies alive, as otherwise the team would never have less than 5 actions per turn (meaning having players get killed off every turn would actually be a good thing, since each person only has 1 MP)
Although it's an easy thing to miss, so no worries.

You could purposefully misinterpret it to resurrect the enemies too.

"OH GODS WHY? WHYYY?"

After a twenty minute session, the man is left white as a sheet, hairless and completely and utterly dead. James congratulates himself on a job well done!

HugoLuman slams his massive forehead into Orc 3!
Orc 3 takes 2 damage!
Orc 3 is bludgeoned into the ground!
heydude6 steals the M16 from the hapless Orc, and guns down Orc 2!
Orc 2 takes 3 damage!
Orc 2 dies!
heydude6 regains his spent Magic Point by absorbing the creature's soul!
Tawarochir grabs a sword and charges the M16 wielding orc!
He gets about half-way there before getting blocked Orc 1!

Attempt at Cheating the System wears off!



~Enemies Turn~

Orc 1 blocks Tawarochir's movement, and slashes at him!
Tawarochir takes 2 Damage!
Tawarochir Dies!
Orc 3 has been pummeled into the ground, and can't get out!
Orc 4 is paralyzed and can't move!

Dire Pegasus is trapped under corpses!
