Game 1, Turn 6:
Well, better get as many handguns as I can (up to 5) while I await the editors' responses.
1: During an attempt to purchase firearms, you are deemed overly suspicious. Perhaps you shouldn't have tried to buy firearms from a legitimate store, given that you're not a citizen here. The police are on their way.
Response time: 1: Or rather, the police WOULD be on their way, but given that the dealer is frustrated with their phone, clearly something went wrong. Lucky for you, kind of? Maybe their phone is dead, maybe they got laughed off. Who knows. They're asking you to leave at any rate, and they don't seem the type to leave loaded guns lying around. They're behind a small counter, but otherwise not overly protected. Of course, they've probably taken precautions against robbers, but you can't see anything overt, given that their whole lower body is hidden.
As a side note, the postal service is suspiciously fast. You're handed a letter, and the person that delivered it is gone just like that. They've responded in the affirmative, and are on the way to "investigate" with you.
Continue on driving. Call the Lakers, and tell them to get over here. Vacation time's over!
2: You keep on driving. You only get about a block. The river is in sight now though. (Jeez, the dice don't want you travelling. Even a 3 would have basically got you there.)
9: Your call to the team goes far better. They'll be on the next flight to this city, and should arrive at the nearest airport in about 8 hours. Not ideal, but its not like you can rent the Concorde for your team.
Finish up getting fixed up, then once thats done, get into the armory and grab an AR-15.
10: Your medical team fixes you up at full speed, and you manage to get them to give you a clean bill of health. You make your way to the armory, and find 3: there are no AR-15's on this ship. 9: You do, however, grab an extra pistol though, and some extra ammo for it. You also have a choice of either an m1 garand, or perhaps an m1 carbine, when it comes to rifles. You could grab both, but that would probably be rather cumbersome. (Given that this is a world war 2 ship, you can stand to expect world war 2 weapons. I probably would have given it to you on a higher roll though.)
Seduce the nurse with my musical talent.
4+2: You impress her enough that she lets you leave. Anyone that can rap like that after just waking up is probably healthy, generally speaking.
The police are mildly worried that something might be going on, but otherwise, nothing seems out of the ordinary to them.
DOOM CRUISER is still a thing, I swear. Also, as a side note, provided the majority of people agree, and no one is in combat, time can be advanced by a day. I doubt this will be the case, given that some people would benefit more than others, but hey. Seemed like a good idea. Next game, in addition to the idea that people start with a little cash, I'm damn well giving players cell phones too.
