{Given that I actually know the general idea of how to make various nuclear machinery, and fully intend to enforce good design decisions, it's easy enough to start using nuclear tech right now. Learn how, then figure out how the devil late-dark-age dwarves are going to refine fissile materials and obtain enough of the various other needed materials to make it work. 

If we do succeed in keeping this game alive for a while longer, you will almost certainly be able to use nuclear tech, but that's a ways down the line.}
