I have no idea as I've never reclaimed a fort myself in this version.

As for the uploading, its pretty simple. Do you have a dropbox account or anything like that? The free account should be plenty of space, then once its uploaded you could share a public link. Alternatively you could use mediafire or something depending on how big the file is.

If it is going to turn out to be a bug, please use the File Depot.  Compress your DF/data/save/region folder, upload it to the depot, and post a link to it here.

Was any of that fruit, etc, brought on embark or was it locally grown?

On reclaims all previous items are forbidden. Try that [d-b-c] over area to mass reclaim it. [k] should show if it is forbidden with these curly brackets " { item} ".

EDIT: Also kitchen screen is not the best place to check stocks. Go [z-stocks] and finds fruits there. Having active bookkeeper helps a lot there to see precise numbers (precise level is set at [n]obles - [s ]ettings on bookkeeper).

Good idea but if the items were forbidden it would just error out on the job no?

Worth a try

yea the first thing i did on arrival was unforbid the entire map through all Z levels so i dont think its that. to be honest im not sure a single drink has been brewed in the time of the reclaim.... i embarked with 123 barrels and ive cleared both the dwarven and human trader thats visited.

currently uploading to dropbox but my webnets is a bit slow so it may take a while for the 604mb save to be uploaded

That's really weird, the job isn't even on the list. Last time I had something similar, the plants were all out of reach because a tree had grown under a bridge which was the only way out of the fort.

Have you tried having the manager give the order, just because why not?

Have you tried canceling the extract from plants job? For reference, that job requires the plant gathering labor, not brewing, and it's very unlikely that you have any plants from which extracts can be made. If you don't have someone with plant gathering enabled, that job will just sit there forever and block any other jobs from occurring.
