Well you said it was going to be fine if we just headed to the outlying farms to wait out the storm.

Yes, this is correct, but the journey will be much more dangerous if no one goes with you.

Let me quote reddit for you.

Quote from: Don't split the party
Technically, that phrase is usually uttered by the players, because - as you pointed out - when the PCs split up, the GM ends up having to deal with multiple one-person groups rather than one big group, which is time-consuming and, frankly, a pain in the ass. Hence, when the party splits up, the GM starts killing PCs in sheer frustration.

As an added bonus, it's a lot easier to murder PCs when they're foolish enough to wander off on their own.

Therefore, smart players do not split the party.

Don't worry. You'll make a nice ice mummy when they recover your body a thousand years later in the Spring Kingdom.

Unfortunately going off on your own is unlikely to change our slowness anyway :P

By PBP standards this is blisteringly fast. We reached and got through our first combat in less than a month, after all.

Those rations, does lasting two days mean that they will go bad in two days, or that one gold buys two days worth of rations?

Rations last forever in my game. By which I mean, there should never be a point where you adventuring long enough for them to go bad.

I would hope.

I'll buy more rations then... 20 days probably isn't enough, but I'm wary of buying too much... Hum. What do you guys think? Maybe just be safe rather then sorry?

Edit: I hope these are not the "weapon eaty" oozes. If those are still in 5E. Although that would be funny.

QUESTIONS!

1. Did we heal over the night?

2. Should we withdraw another gold piece for the Inn?

3. What time is it when we arrive at the mine/quarry?

1. You healed and recovered everything twice over.

2. Nah, you left the next day

3. Let's say noon!

How do you fight oozes? I can only assume that fire is the best and only way to really deal with them.
