"Right, so back to my question: why recruit students? Why not cops or soldiers?"

"Especially, well... us of all people."

"Come to think of it, I've got a few questions: why give us our cards by mail if we were going to meet in person anyway? Are there any special laws of that world? Virgil seemed unharmed despite what happened and there wasn't really any collateral damage either. What exactly are these 'shadows'? How do they act? Do the people being abducted have to be Millennium players?"

"The majority of adults cannot form a Persona in Achronos. We do not understand why.

Trust me, if we could recruit cops and soldiers, we would.."

"Come to think of it, I've got a few questions: why give us our cards by mail if we were going to meet in person anyway? Are there any special laws of that world? Virgil seemed unharmed despite what happened and there wasn't really any collateral damage either. What exactly are these 'shadows'? How do they act? Do the people being abducted have to be Millennium players?"

"The cards were sent to confirm that you were indeed the people at your addresses- I would have called an alarm if any one of you weren't the people at the address.

As for why Virgil wasn't too badly damaged, we do not understand Achronos completely, but it seems that possessing a Persona grants you toughness beyond the norm. And you will need that.

We don't know what the Shadows are, either- as far as we're concerned, they're monsters that kill the victims thrown into Achronos. As for how they act, you'll be debriefed on that tomorrow. And as far as we can tell, only Millennium players have been victims."

[Empiricist]

"I take it that the toughness only happens in that world? Karma didn't really seem too tough, unless it doesn't cover kicks to the groin.

What weapons do you have? Just improvised? Or illegal stuff like zig-zags?"

Maria nods.
"It applies a little to reality, but yeah.

We do have real weapons- as you can see from her gun and my musket. You can take your pick tomorrow when I show you the ropes."

[Empiricist]

((What does a gun count as anyway?))
"Right, so what works well on them? Guns perhaps seeing as you both use them?"

[IamanElfCollaborator]

"Most things- swords, spears, bats. I mean, not as well as a Persona, but better something than nothing."

[Empiricist]

"Got any more info on those persona things? I don't really like the idea of having fragments of my souls being out of my body and away from the rest of my soul. Or it being a physical thing, really."

[IamanElfCollaborator]

Miss Aisaka shakes her head.
"As we said, we have limited knowledge on them, given that they only seem to manifest in Achronos- and scientific experiments are understandably hard to run when the the threat of Shadows lies around there."

[Empiricist]

"Do things like cameras and phones work in there by the way?"

[IamanElfCollaborator]

Maria shrugs.
"No. We tried. There are some pieces of equipment we managed to proof against Achronos, but it seems the same field that stops time within it also breaks most modern technology."

[Empiricist]

"So stuff like electronics then? Would an antique camera work though? I mean, might as well take photos of the so we have something to go off of if we can."
