"Back on the stuff about destroying those shadows, do things like fire work? I was thinking that since collateral damage doesn't seem to happen, we could all just make and carry a few molotovs with us.

Oh also, how much control do you have over your persona? Do you just give it vague instructions, or can you control it like your own body? Can you feel what they feel? Can you kinda stop halfway through summoning them so they can't be physically touched?"

((It was made clear that people felt the pain of their Personae being struck during the fight, as was the degree of control over it.))
"We have reason to believe that Shadows can both resist fire and even absorb and heal from it."

((Yeah, but Branson has been half asleep the whole day and was a bit too overwhelmed to notice at that point.))
"Well, shit. What else can they absorb?"

"Dependent on the Shadow, we have cause to believe they can absorb bullets, electricity, wind, so on and so forth."

"Lovely. I take it the only way to find out is to try it on them first? Well at least the molotov idea could still work if we're careful then..."

Kyousuke raises his hand.
"Not true. My Persona, Michael, is non-combat related, but rather a Persona capable of analyzing the weaknesses and strengths of an enemy.

Given if you can hold out long enough, I can provide you with one or two hints towards their vulnerabilities. It will, however, take me multiple scans to figure out all weaknesses and strengths, and I can only warn you if the enemy is weak or strong against it- I can't tell you if they block or even absorb certain attacks."

"Wait what? So they aren't all a bunch of murderous er, things? There are support ones as well?"

"Very rare, but it happens. I can also sense how many enemy groups you will have to face in your vicinity, and whether or not the enemy is close to death."

"Okay, as a general rule of thumb, at how many shadows should we run? Also, you seem a lot more talkative when discussing this sort of stuff, I mean, you seem pretty quiet in class."

Kyousuke rubs the back of his head.
"To be honest, I don't really like being too talkative. I'm just trying to make sure we don't die out there, you know?

As a general rule of thumb? Twenty or thirty."

"Right then I'll try not to ask too many things. Well, any more than I have already at least. Is there any way to tell whether a shadow is dangerously powerful or not?"

"I can sense their strength level and will warn you if a Shadow is powerful."

Maria speaks up.
"Indeed, like that Shadow you faced earlier. We have a name for it- Izanagi, the Emperor Shadow. We've been tracking its movements for a while, as it seems quite different to others of its kind."

"For something named after a chief god, it didn't seem too bad. I'm going to regret saying that, aren't I?"
Branson begins to walk away to the weapons training room

"Hopefully not."
Maria nods.
"The training room is closed today, by the way. It was damaged in the same incident that damaged our excursion equipment."
