I didn't think that it would be too awful to know that I have this game sitting back at home, but don't get to play it for 3 weeks after its release.

At least you know how long it'll be until you can play it. I just don't know /when/ I can get the game - it could be next week, it might not be until the beginning of April.

Anyone know how to unlock the Drive Wystone? I have reached the 10* quests in the Caravan, and I only have the Force and Brace Wystones.

Monster Hunter Wiki has all the MH3u armors as far as I know, but their MH4U armor pictures are woefully incomplete. I imagine it'll be updated in the future.

I've just gotten to 7 star quests, trying to complete all of the quests as I get them instead of gunning (blademastering?) straight through the urgents and keys. Apparently you need to have played guild hall quests to raise your hunter rank in order to unlock the rest of the 6 star quests.

Guess now is as good a time as any to start learning a new weapon for multiplayer so I'm not killing great jaggis with blue sharpness lances and ruining the fun for everyone else =p

Here's a HUUUUGE time-saving tip I just figured out while farming. If you're after a rare harvestable resource(or any resource really) your palicos can help you and I mean much more than you can help yourself.

I was trying to get Ancient Fragment from rare mining spots in high rank expeditions, those rare mining spots usually only let me mine them once or twice at most and rarely gave me what I wanted. 4 hours of farming later I only have 2 Ancient Fragments. Then one time I decided to try something, in a treasure area there were two rare mining spots and I just sat there and watched as the two palicos went to them to gather over and over and over and over.

At the end of that expeditions my cats had gathered 5 ancient fragments.

This works best if you have 5 harvesting first stringer palicos obviously.

Does the level of the palicoes matter when it comes to their forte? I've been kinda neglecting them cause I don't know a good way to raise their level other than bringing every single one on quests with me.

no idea, mine are mostly low too since I find they get in the way during quests.

I mean COME ON, How is it not awesome that they throw a Gore Magala after finishing the Second Village. AND you have to fight it on a boat!!! Was not expecting that...
