Also, strange lack of syndromes in this topic...

Slow-acting kitten rot is pretty bad. Stuck in a cloud of your own miasma as you slowly bleed to death from your swollen and rotting flesh.

"Kitten rot" is slang for a syndrome that causes necrosis on contact.  ;)

I notice that (more than one) gelding blow injures pancreas. Maybe the [GELDIBLE] is under pancreas.

It should really be under a "groin" body part. Otherwise, I suppose sterility is some weird sort of dwarven diabetes.
How many non-weird sorts of dorf-a-beetus are there?

Oh, I got a new contender for the most horrible thing I've ever done to something in game after spending far too long playing with my new horrorcombo (mainhand battle axe, offhand war hammer, target the head with an axe hack, multi, target the head with a hammer bash, hit comma and laugh as they are sent flying by the blow, THEN beheaded in midair) and began trying to geld some gobs, while pulling the guts out of the failed attempts.. then I noticed I could choose to shake them by the guts, then choose to attack them again, and at one point I bisected one like this... since I had learned that if you knock someone away with your hammer and they are unconscious you can feed on them in mid-air, I decided to give it a try, and really the only way this could have more more awful would be if I had gelded him in the process:

When dwarven afterlives get implemented I want to see crowds of ghosts bragging about how painful and terrifying their deaths were.

D1: How'd you die? I was smelting metals, and an imp decided to pay a visit. Went out in a blaze of glory.
D2: I got divided and conquered by a psychopath that fed on me in mid-air. How 'bout you?
D3: Heart-attack. Pretty lame compared to what you've been through. Suffering like that is painful and boring. I'd rather have been stomped on by an elephant, or dissolved by the recent beast we came across.

One time in 0.34 Masterwork adventure mode I bisected a goblin with a blow to the groin from my steel pickaxe.

Spent hours training up my dwarves to close to 20 in weapons but around 10ish in armor and shields, figured I would have a go at a forgotten monster who had been skittering in my headphones for hours - sent them down.

Everyone got 1 shot, one dwarf got fatally hit in the head, and thrown so hard into another dwarf it killed him too.

Losing to a wrestler who is trying to build up his/her skills. They will reduce you to a twitching pile of broken bones and pulped flesh.

Defeating a megabeast only to be killed by a wolf ambush afterwards.

I once saw  a wardog with no back legs, and yellow front legs. I went to slaughter the poor th8ng, but it was somebody's pet. Poor dog was walking around, its intestines hanging out. Its still alive, an it will welcome death.

Gonna go with: being slammed across the ground so hard in combat that the ground gelds you and subsequently bleeding to death.

Yeah, I've painted battlefields with goblin blood from pingponging them around, only gotten a few times where I wondered if maybe I'd gone too far... that guy... wasn't really one of them. :P

Run up on an enemy at full speed, target a grapple but don't commit to it yet, then aim a jump through the target, and do another grapple for good measure, you can use this to remove weapons as well, but generally the result is the target sliding across the ground for several tiles after flying 5 or 6 more through the air.
