-1. Including ourselves, 3 members of our team don't have shields and 2 of them are either in medium or light armour. We'd be sentencing Lio do death. Also, 15 prisoners is still way too much for us to handle. Let's go with 10 at the most and make sure none of them have ranged weapons. Finally - and most importantly - I didn't say we should fight against someone on an elephant - just that we should fight an elephant. An unarmoured elephant.
