Not so magical but more a patron god, get granted special things. If you keep the trident and net I would suggest a sea god or something, get bonuses to sea borne weapons (harpoons, nets, tridents, bows (yes they make fishing bows, they would probably be better at killing people than normal ones too because they have a line to pull the arrow/catch in on)) those sort of weapons
