Please shut up, all I want is my lollipop. THE DOC PROMISED ME ONE!

Shamus glares at the doc's robotic eye, well at least as well as a creature with no eyelids, nor ability to move eyes independently from the head can.

Finish up checks and stowage on the shuttle, then drift down the main corridor shaft towards the rest of the ship.

Shamus, I'm afraid I have some very bad news for you - I mean me - I mean Mike and I - I. Bad news for us three." What a child.

Oh really?
Shamus's tone changes from one of anger and frustration to one more remorseful and apologetic
Sorry for being rude, what's the news?

Usually it's the Doc's job to design the exercise so we'll just wait. By any chance do you know why we have to do a trustbuilding exercise together? I've never met you before.

Bugger this psych eval nonsense for a lark, go look for something less silly to do instead. Check ship integrity. Look up black hole information. Chat up a subsystem. Anything to keep the time flowing.

Shamus stares at Mike in awe, this is the first time he's ever heard of another of his kind having contact with the outside world. Shamus then realized that this was evidence that could destroy his lawsuit. He claimed that Eugenocorp caused the extinction of his species and that he was the last survivor. Now that Shamus knew that there was news of his species found elsewhere, he began to wonder whether or not he was still legally considered an employee at Eugenocorp. Ah well, there is no way news of this will ever travel to the ship, now that they're at least 100s of spans away from civilization. Shamus will at least have one final job.

Shamus opens his mouth to speak: Ok cool, I'll guess I'll go, forget the lollypop

OOC: Should I keep backstory bits like this private or in my posts? Escpecially since this is stuff none of the characters on the ship are supposed to know.

"Okay, well ever since I was "born" I've had an admiration for all biological life forms, I'd like to think that I inherited part of Sabir's run-time, but who knows? As I was developing I met a wide variety of alien species and not a single one ever failed to fascinate me, and if i'm going to be completely honest, I have always been a bit, well, jealous of organics. "We can not create life, but we can protect it" was my favorite motto from the Sabir'Sekt's Relief Corp, however after I joined it some bad things happened and I still can't tell if I regret the choice or not. Well I guess it's my turn to ask a question. I've noticed that you do not hold you race's elders in a high regard, any reason for that?"
"Keox elders are xenophobic, militant, and love stopping progress. You cant even try to tell them that because Keox society loves treating elders like the Gods unable to be criticized.

At this point Ra`Sara sighs deeply before ordering her X`ra to return to the Life Support.

"The psych eval is nice and all but I`m afraid I need to return to my duties. Although I did hear something about a lollypop, do they come in a meat flavor?"

((Your choice.))
((It should be noted that 100 spans would still be within a system, so that's not too far from civilization. Lightcycles, on the other hand...))
