Indigo sits in the chair after a doubtful look at it. She turns to the box.
"Well, I'm an expert at historical weaponry, I'm good in a scrap, and I enjoy learning about other cultures. Oh, and I felt violent urges towards unbound of my race and didn't want to go to jail for murdering one eventually."
Makai's light sparks when hearing that last bit of information and after a few seconds speaks. "You realize that raises severe red flags right? I'm sorry but if I am to clear you I will  have to run additional tests, but congratulations on your effort to prevent a hate crime. Do you know why you feel such a violent urge to kill the "unbound" of your race? "

"They killed my partner during the last unbound rebellion. I already have all the documents saying that I'm perfectly fine other than that. In fact, it's a pretty normal thing to have happen after reaching maturity when that's the reason why. It's almost as if you didn't read my file."
Indigo crosses her arms and leans back in her seat.

Makai's voice suddenly sounds guilty. "Well uh, the d-documents must have, uh, gotten lost somewhere. Yeah, that's right lost." The eye quickly looks away from Indigo. "Well anyways, let's get to the next question shall we. So how did you cope with the loss of your partner, and do you mean partner or partner?"

"... Are you implying I fuck reptiles that breath fire?"
Indigo sounds more amused than incredulous.

Makai remains silent for a bit before speaking in a rapid flustered tone "Uh, no I didn't mean to imply anything I, uh, just didn't... So why did the unbound rebel?"

Michael hastily types a GTG on the keyboard, gets off the game, and starts walking towards the psych assess area. he slips on the poster of caffiene evils, gets back up, and keeps walking
"who put that there?"
you did

On revision, MIKE will think cyan-glow navy while Michael will say/think normal navy. actual speech is represented through quotations

"I suppose that's enough background for now. So are there any other issues that you may have that may hinder your success on board the Aelius? They could be biological or ideological, and well anything really.

When Micheal walks into office he notices someone already in there. Makai speaks up as he backs out of the room. "Please follow me to the next room." Makai then takes splits some of the nano-machines from each of the already made furnishings and makes a black blob that moves into the next room. The blob then splits into the same furniture that it made previously with one difference. The small black cube lacks the "eye" and in its place is a simple 3-eyed happy face. When it speaks the voice seems to emanate from the entire box rather than a single point. "Sorry, but the only thing I can not replicate is my Core but this face should suffice. So Welcome Micheal and MIKE. Please take a seat. So why don't you tell me a little bit about yourself or selves."

After hearing the intercom message Shamus gets out of bed and decides to wait in front of the office.

You can fake being able to run on water. You can't fake looking cool when you break your foot on a door and hit your head on the floor.

Tym gets in line to the psych eval after Shamus, saying nothing and making no indication of displeasure.

After noticing the line outside Makai opens a third room. He calls out on the intercom "Next life form please enter room 3."
"I... um... I lay an egg every year. It only takes a about an hour and I already have the relevant schedule changes."
"Okay, one last thing. Do you consent to hosting some of my nano-machines inside of you. They will keep me updated on your life signs and will alert me to any issues that may arise. They can also synthesize any enzymes or pharmaceuticals that you may need in a moment of crisis. They have other functions as well. I highly recommend it."

Enzarl joins the queue.

"I am not really keen on psychology, so I wonder what we're going to do exactly... Other than what he said already."

"Simple. The psychologist is going to pretend to be useful, and we will play along. Then for the next five days the rest of us will pretend to be useful and the psychologist will play along."
