Dwarf Fortress and Nethack

Nethack dungeon combined with Dwarf Fortress combat system. That sounds epic.

that was a luky dwarf. I had one dabbling surgeon fail so spectacularly that the patient skull flew a tile away from the table.

DF doesn't mold players into its image - DF merely selects those who were always ready for DF.

Minecraft UI is very simple. There's only so many ways you can implement "simple" without copying something. We also gonna complain that it uses WASD?

Dwarf Fortress and Mouse Guard

While the latter is not a computer game, it'd still be a pretty sweet combo. Mice with poleaxes fighting gigantic (from their perspective) hawks while riding cockney hares, anyone?

That sounds like it could make an interesting mod.  Mice could replace dwarves, and run off of the Kobold Camp rules, Hawks would be a replacement for goblins.  Don't know what humans and elves would be...

War Thunder and Dwarf Fortress

Dwarves in Fw190's and goblins in yaks. Oh my. And everyone hates the elves cuz they're in spitfires.

The MG151 shoots solid obsidian globs and HEAT is also made of magma.

Battle reports and the kill camera is also exponentially funnier. "The spinning 75mm APCR strikes the T-34 1940 in the side, bruising the external armor !" "The spinning 75mm HEAT strikes the Pz. IV Ausf. C in the side of the turret, going straight through the armor! The spinning 75mm strikes the Gunner in the head and the injured parts is cloven asunder!"

In a hurricane of black comedy, a paramilitary Deathsquad enters a space station threatened by the Syndicate. The Deathsquad kills literally everyone, including the crew they were to save, in increasingly cruel ways. Drama kicks in, and the members start questioning their motives and losing their minds. Was the Deathsquad heroic in killing everyone? Were the Syndicate operatives really villains? Is the world really black and white with heroes and villains?

Weasels would be preferable as a replacement for goblins IMO. As far as elves go, I'd settle for the treachery of the bats. As for humans... I'm not really sure.

Though, is it really neccessary for DF mods to sport DF-equivalent races instead of just doing their own thing?

Juggle playing cards around the virtual table in rhythm to the music and organize them into piles according to their suits, racking up a massive score. Start over a dozen times because you didn't get the rhythm just right and broke your combo.

Humans could fit in as rats. Pretty much the same as dwarves/mice but larger.

Dungeons of Dredmor + Phantasy Star Online 2

Yeah I don't see this happening. Free to play, except for the fact you need a Premium Pass to trade with Brax and get a Rare Boost to drop equipments of value.

...Actually, that'd be Just Cause 2, wouldn't it?

Bioshock Infinite + Carmageddon: Reincarnated.

I'm picturing Booker driving around Columbia in a gnarly Steam-punk theme'd demo car, rescuing Elizabeth, running over Guard Peds and using ramps to get between each building platform.

Dwarf Fortress + War Thunder = Dwarves flying Spitfires ? We'd probably get air strips on top of our fortresses just like Iron Forge except everything being 90% dwarfier.
