No, you're not affected on either turn if you land on a pass-over effect tile.

That leaves 2s or jumps for cheese, sheb, and escaped.

I would guess...

They got charred by Sheb being on fire. Like, really really high quality fire.

The detour came from tile 8's effects.



Mastahcheese continues his tirade of constant arsony.

Hector avoids being sent backwards.

Lurker stares Cthulu in the eye, and goes nearly mad!

Person makes what is perhaps the most interesting permanent effect yet.

Heydude makes sure his fortunes are reversed by not tripping it's effects again.

Sheb tries to pick up the gasoline, but he's not on fire anymore (Tile 16's effect). Instead, he causes the foliage on the tile to spread and overgrow, meaning the tile he's on grows larger; it now takes more movement to pass through it (Not to leave or if you would normally land on it), and if you don't have enough movement to get through the undergrowth it will stop you.
