The theory: town players don't care about drawing suspicion and throw their vote around with less cautiousness. Scum players are wary and very reluctant to draw heat onto themselves by attacking too many players. This is the most reliable way of discerning town players from scum that I have found and so despite appearances here, Tiruin is the better lynch choice than Pisskop.

Please explain to me how Tiruin is a better choice. How do half the scumteams cease to be possible if she flips town?
There are a finite number of scum-team combinations. Players earnestly trying to lynch each other in ways where bussing appears unlikely rules out certain player combos for being on a scum-team. Tiruin's non-commital play means she hasn't been ruled out of any combo except maybe with Scripten.

I've focused way too much today on trying to figure out who can and cannot be confirmed to not be performing the scumkill tonight, so the remaining player/s can be investigated but as we're lynching the Reporter that focus now appears somewhat misplaced.

Why were you acting so suspicious Pisskop? Like consistently forgetting to vote for the people you say are your suspects, or flipping out and voting someone for no real reason, or ignoring questions you didn't like, or posting bizarre testimonials? Why?! Regardless of your alignment, I just can't fathom it.

I'm just going to say that Pisskop has been coming from what seemed like a town motivation to me in all his PMs. I'd be very surprised if it turned out he was that good at keeping up a facade like that.

Erractic.

-I don't vote people who are suspicious, I vote those who I want information from.  Those can be the same person, but not always.  Especially in a game without a %lynch.  No reason to, there's no pressure in it but in your head
-'flipping out'?  I don't call it that.  I was pushing Cheeetar for his reaction.  It was a bad idea, so don't look for me to do that again.
-Ignoring questions?  Again, I don't quite know what you mean.  And damn if a lot of the questions asked here completely tangential or irrelevant/offtrack of what I had said.  Mafia is not about answering every question, and I/you have no obligation to do so.  You do it to satisfy your examiner/the town.  I do a lot of talking to one person but really directing my answer to the town.
-The 'testimonials' was having a bit of fun.  Also not the best idea here.

Anywho, I'll look forward to playing again sometime, and promise not to play quite like that.  I've already put a few games in this forum, complete with a 1day game as scums.

Day should've ended half an hour ago. Where's Meph, and what's his rules on after deadline posts again?

The day ends when Meph shows up to end it is the way it's usually worked.

We don't have a tie right now, right? And pisskop is currently set to be lynched?

See, it's things like this that make people not want to give you the benefit of the doubt. Are we too serious on this forum? I mean, we say mafia isn't serious business...

Well, we could do a surprise reversal of decision and lynch another. . .
I play a goofy town style, I admit.

I know you apparently have a principle here, but if you're town your first duty is to not get yourself lynched so you not voting is playing counter to your wincon.
