I put on heavy clothing, because it started to snow.  I go through the forest. Before I notice Tooney's window cracked I hear a crack, and feel two tugs.  Somebody pulls me down and crawls away before I can get a look at them.

And when in your flavor PM did you see mastahcheese and flabort? Because you should've seen them in your flavor PM because you're a Reporter and you watched ToonyMan.

I am down for the Tiruin lynch.  Im glad somebody sees what intuition tells me.

So why did you start the day voting for Persus13 then?

I like that as soon as you see people willing to vote for one of your suspects you're willing to go along with that.

The events of the night, as I see it: MC attacked Toony (flavour mentions MC was the aggressor), Flabort attacked Toony. All three died. If Pisskop did truly watch Toony's place, it would have had to have been a guard other than MC who saved him, and why would the doppelganger protect somebody unless they were also a doppelganger anyway?

An alternative theory:

pisskop performed the nightkill
mastahcheese the Observant Guard protects pisskop
ToonyMan kills mastahcheese protecting pisskop
flabort dies to ToonyMan
Toonyman dies getting killed by flabort and pisskop

I don't know how willing I am to jump aboard this theory but I'm certainly suspicious of pisskop for the convenience of how he managed to target ToonyMan yet somehow didn't die.

It's the theory which requires the least assumptions, and I'm more liable to agree with that than the initial theory I presented. I'd like to hear more from ZU before prosecuting Pisskop for his atrociously scummy behaviour the day before and his hard to believe claims of the night before.

@Jim

No other people spotted.  not even Tooney.

In voting Persus because last I checked there is no majority  lynch.  Why limit my examination to just Tiruin.
I would suggest you two go scumhunt too.

I voted for Flabort because there was a tie. I was too focused on the 4mask/Flabort thingy that I didn't have a strong read on TDS and I thought Flabort was pretty scummy.

pisskop performed the nightkill
mastahcheese the Observant Guard protects pisskop
ToonyMan kills mastahcheese protecting pisskop
flabort dies to ToonyMan
Toonyman dies getting killed by flabort and pisskop
I don't know how willing I am to jump aboard this theory but I'm certainly suspicious of pisskop for the convenience of how he managed to target ToonyMan yet somehow didn't die.
This kinda makes sense. I can see the opening exchange being something the two of them planned to build town-cred. Also the only bodyguard type that doesn't get killed while guarding is the Guardian. So if no one claims guardian or if no guardian flips it'll be evident that pisskop is lying.

Meph, do we know whether mastahcheese died while he was guarding somebody?

@Jim

No other people spotted.  not even Tooney.

You claimed:

My night action was to see who visited Tooney.

So you should have seen flabort and mastahcheese visit, because you're a Reporter and when you watch a player you see who targets them. You didn't claim being blocked so you should have seen them.

pisskop, how do you reconcile this inconsistency?

Bodyguards do not block their target while they are protecting them.

Why didn't you see flabort and mastahcheese visit ToonyMan, like what would be expected to happen if you did what you actually claimed?

It's good to know you're lying you're ass off.

I get where you're coming from here, Jim, but I initially read pisskop's post in the way he's presenting it. Meph didn't provide any information in that flavor that suggests anything other than pisskop visited toony, which pisskop already knew. It was flavorful, but it didn't give him a result.

But there's a discrepancy in what he claimed to do and the flavor he claimed to receive.

Actions in Paranormal games operate in deterministic ways (for the most part). If he watched ToonyMan to see who visited him (like he claimed) then in his flavor he should have seen flabort, at the very least, since flabort has to visit ToonyMan to kill him. If pisskop had claimed to follow ToonyMan instead, then his claimed results, i.e., seeing nothing, would make sense. But he didn't claim that, so here we are.

Unless you can figure out a superior interpretation of the flavor that reconciles the discrepancy, I have to conclude that pisskop is lying.

Second.  Tiruin hasn't voted yet.  Ever.
So what do you understand of my lack of vote?

Quote
Tiruin

-You claim to be having extreme difficulties accessing the forum and the game.  Have you considered replacing out?  Why or why not?
Difficulties during D1, actually--this isn't a permanent problem but a...more-than-occasional setback.
I couldn't find an analogy for it, so...its our net here. :-\

. . .(PFP btw)
Pisskop, why're you revealing you action'd Toony, when such a query could be PM'd to Meph? (unless, y'know, you wanted it known, as the basic implication?)
Meh?  I guess I jumped up.  I would like to congratulate whomever saved me, after all.
Query on this. Let's investigate the point.
Your predecessor claimed HUMAN REPORTER.
Quote
Reporter
    Race: Human/Doppelganger
    Goal: Find
Rules: Years of following celebrities around has given this person the ability to track anyone anywhere and keep out of sight in the process. Each night the Reporter can choose to either follow someone to see where they go or watch to see if anyone visits them that night. The Reporter does NOT get any more information about what happens, only the location visited or the people at the location. Attempting to follow a War Vet is still fatal, of course.
    Victory: Town/Doppelgangers win

...Also as an aside, the Reporter thingy was asked before...
So if the Advanced Assassin Bot kills a player, does their vote still count towards the lynch? Also, from the way it's written it looks like a Reporter isn't killed by a Veteran if they choose to watch their house instead of following them. Is that right?
Yes, their vote still counts.
No, a Reporter who targets a War Vet (either way) is killed.
It's very safe to assume that ToonyMan is the War Vet. Unless I'm really messing up my semantics, therefore...^?

Because if you did target ToonyMan--and in this game there are no redirectors, and for some reason you aren't reporting being PSYCHIC WARDEN CHAIN'D...along with my earlier inclination of neutrality due to the ideas of...presumably all the usage of 'extremes' in your words (as in, your posts in D1 are interspaced with 'town' and 'scum' leanings...very heavily).

Pisskop.
You do realize that by that kind of knowledge-outing, there is only ONE conclusion (as far as I've read up), yes?
You're proving the existence of
Quote
Bodyguard
    Race: Human/Doppelganger
    Goal: Protect
Flavor: When killed while performing a Protection the Bodyguard's remains will be found somewhere outside of their room/house.
Rules: The Bodyguard is randomly given one of four abilities at the start of the game. The bodyguard uses these abilities to protect another player during the night.
       [...]
Guardian: This powerful bodyguard will prevent one kill attempt on the target that night. The Guardian is not killed by doing so.
A Guardian.

Meaning that you're town (because lolScumAttack)...or a derivative of non Dopp that way.

Why not Tiruin? You ended the day voting her. Why not any of your other suspects from Day 1?
If Tiruin is scum, and she knows I am town-aligned, than she wouldn't perform the kill herself.  That the Bodyguard of the scum performed the kill is interesting evidence for just that.
Also your logic is flawed here :P
If I'm scum, then...what?
That conclusion (in orange) has pretty much more assumptions to it :V
Unless somehow you mindread me that 'ohgods I know he's a reporter and I know he'll track me! Evasive measures, go, go!'

...Which is weird, is all.

I am down for the Tiruin lynch.  Im glad somebody sees what intuition tells me.
Here's some life advice for posterity--your intuition is a subtle tell, modified by predispositions and how openminded you consider things; if you are able to consider viewpoints in full openness, and from all angles, then the credibility of that intuition is high, though not conclusive to be your only reference as it, in part, is also based on personal feelings, if you'd go by emotional reasoning, and personal knowledge, going by how much you actually understand on the situation.

In most cases, it is an error to call it your intuition as the causal factor. In the very few and rare cases--it is a hidden truth.
Which is all muddled by misinterpretation all over the years.
