@GM: Seeing as our two last players don't appear to be joining us, will you be opening the game for replacements? Several people expressed interest, at least.

I'd still say not to worry too much over weight or how many soldiers are actually supposed to fit into a Chimera. Let's not have the rules get in the way of gameplay. GM's fiat is the first rule for a reason.

Well. Yes, that makes sense. Plus I told everybody I'm starting in a week or so, so maybe thoe two just aren't in a rush to make characters. I sort of promised them a spot... Well damn, now I feel sorta jerk-ish. Nah, let's wait for them, and if they don't turn up, then we'll start without them.

Even penal legions dont have a officer for every four men.

They may have a NCO for every four, but an officer? I doubt there are enough orgyn in penal legions for that.

Yeah, like, in Abnett's books, a regiment of 3000 men has two Commissars. It's basic practice to have one Commissar per regiment.
