Continue to loot each hotel room according to how safe the surroundings are and if any zombies pursue you kill them by hiding in a room waiting for them to climb through a window.
After checking the row of rooms to the south you don't find anything new (except for a Gideon Bible that you don't have room for). You also got into some close encounters with some more zombies (they were hiding in the bathrooms) but managed to lock them in before they got to you. There was an especially close call with a zombie soldier, you managed to lock the door and drag a cabinet in front of it, so you don't expect him to get out soon:
You don't bother checking the rooms to the northwest, because you suspect you won't find anything new and also because they are dangerously close to the horde of zombies roaming on the north road.
You do, however, dash over to the check-in building and manage to find a pocket-knife, the first useful thing you've found since you got here. Along the way you took a quick look at the motorbike, and it seems the engine and gas tank are in working condition. It even has some fuel. Unfortunately, it has no charge, and neither do you.
On the bright-side, you found a couple of maps behind the check-in counter. A corpulent brain-eater lunged at you before you could examine them, however, so you shoved the maps into your pack and set off for the woods. You chest wound is doing a lot better (infection cured!) and the pain is fading, but you are still wet. You want to break-down and destroy everything in sight...but instead you quietly eat your chocolate bar...and feel a little better (from
to :| level).
You're back to the wooded area in front of the motel:
You are pretty sure, you've gotten all you can here and anything more is going to require some...equipment to clear out the zombies. You also need to find a safe place to look at the map.
What will you do?
Edit: There is also a car parked in the middle of the road, right at the entrance of the motel, and you can see that something is in its trunk (the trunk is open).
