I'd want execution by firing squad / death squad if I were to be executed, whilst I do appreciate hanging when it just breaks your neck, that case where one of Saddam's overweight friends' head was severed by the rope - nope! NOPE!

Firing squads usually fire into the centre of mass at close range. So they're likely to hit the intestines, stomach, kidneys or lumbar vertebrae. None of those are going to kill you quickly. IIRC a witness said it took about six minutes for the person to die.

Last thing you're ever going to feel? Might as well actually FEEL it.

Not sure why it all has to be so elaborate.  Just the desire to ritualize the ending of a life, I guess?  But really... painless, instantaneous death shouldn't be such a difficult thing to do.

It's not every day that Belarus can be held up as an example for others (with respect to Guardian GI) but they conduct executions by shooting the guilty party in the back of the head with a suppressed 9mm pistol at an 'undisclosed location.' That seems a sensible way to go about it. No pomp and circumstance, no spectacle, just getting it done in a quiet and dignified manner. Though their practice of burying the person in secret afterward and simply telling the family that the execution had taken place is a little bit unnecessary.

I would literally rather die by this form of execution then anything else, so it suffices to say that I am a big fan of the idea. That or firing squad. Firing squads are cool. As long as they do the blindfold thing.

Meanwhile, Trump apparently crashed a Glenn Beck speech and sucked all the air out of Beck's sails. That in itself is priceless.

Precaucus registrations were up nearly 25% from 2012. Big turnout tonight, and entrance polls indicate 58% of the voters say they are "angry'. That's about twice the proportion as the other GOP contests so far. Apparently, what happens in Vegas stays bottled up in tight little knots of rage in Vegas.

lel, CNN went and projected Trump as the winner before the numbers barely started coming in. It seemed pretty clear that he'd win Nevada anyway.

Bear in mind that Clark County (Las Vegas) hasn't reported at all yet (and from the sound of things, might be a while to report because of the cray-cray on the ground). Trump's already at 42% WITHOUT Vegas. With Vegas, can he hit 50%? I can't see a moralizing shitwit like Cruz doing well in Sin City.

Rubio is still keeping ahead of Cruz. He's gonna need a better margin, though, if he's hoping to clinch the consolidation anytime soon.
