Possibly also because we've already had one "President Clinton". Note how Bush II: Gulf War Boogaloo was widely referred to as "Dubya" rather than everyone calling him "Bush" (never mind the unfortunate "Bush & Dick 2000/2004"). God knows there are enough ignorant fucks that if she campaigned solely as "Clinton 2016" you'd have morons raising Cain about how it's illegal for a president to serve three terms.  ::)

Where did that Dubya nickname for George W. Bush come from anyway?

Yeah, pretty much. Folks using hillary's first name isn't really anything terribly complicated, it's just to keep other folks from thinking they're talking about bill. E: Well, usually. Some people do indeed use that naming convention because they're disrespectful shitheels, but it's mostly just so they don't have to imagine hillary playing the sax.

... smj, you just answered your own question. And ninja'd, eh.

Personally, I always preferred Shrub to Dubya. Or The Smirking Chimp.

His face was remarkably chimp-like, wasn't it? Especially with the expressions he liked to make.

They're just joking around.

I guess Trump won't even have to lift a finger for the whole thing to happen. Also, I wonder how long it'll take before it gets punted to the Supreme Court. The issue itself seems pretty bipartisan since there are varying interpretations on both sides, so, I don't think the current state of the Supreme Court will be a problem.

Yeah, I mean, I don't think that Bush Jr. was actually a subhuman moron, but I distinctly remember all the way back in '99/'00 thinking that he looked a little like a chimp. It stuck with me, and apparently a lot of caricaturists agreed.  :P

Speaking of joking around, that thing with Cruz is actually happening? kekeke

It's actually been happening, there was one from Houston about a month back maybe, it just seems to be slowly building up and probably will as Cruz keeps going.

Is he treading on your dreams? (Equilibrium was pretty great)

So Trump said:
Quote
If and when the Vatican is attacked by ISIS, I can promise you that the pope will have only wished and prayed that Donald Trump would have been the president.

But I have it on good authority that the Vatican is immune to armed attack:

As Vatican City has listed every building in its territory on the International Register of Cultural Property under Special Protection, the Hague Convention for the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict theoretically renders it immune to armed attack.[56]

I wonder about the mental health of wikipedia editors sometimes.

P.S. I was looking through the article on the Vatican City because one of Trump's people (and some internetters) claimed the Vatican was entirely surrounded by a massive wall. I didn't find any confirmation that it was, or that it wasn't, but my searches were all wrecked by this being THE NEWS, where NEWS means allegations reported as fact without fact-checking.

Their worldview is so distorted that they think of real wars as functional equivalents to edit-wars.

"All you need to do is lock Vatican City to non-Papal structural editing and the buildings will all be fine!"

Pfft....Shrub's chimpiness has nothing on Trump. Dem lips, man. Dem lips. Plus that orangutan fur on top of his head.

Google Maps does not lie; that there are some walls.
Given that it was besieged by armies and barbarian hordes numerous times over its 2500+ years of existence, I'm not really fucking surprised there are some walls. It's not like the Pope built those himself.
