There is a Planned Parenthood that happens to be close by, but thats not the target, theres various places in there, a golf course (not really the most ideal place for a terrorist to hit), a mall nearby, and some other stuff. According to the latest on CNN, it's taking place at or near a place that helps people with developmental disabilities.

That kind of place makes no sense for a terrorist target, and I'm not sure if ISIS would go so low as to target disabled people.

I'll dare the NRA people to say that the developmentally (possibly mentally) disabled people should have gunz.

Edit: It might be at a school that is also in the area, unless that place that helps people with disabilities is the school they're talking about. Editwhiletyping: Yeah, they're now saying it's at a center for the disabled, needy. :/

Islamic terrorists are militarily radicalized fundamentalist musslims, that have an extreme view of how islamic faith should be practiced. The prevailing culture of California revels in its progressive openness concerning topics such as gender, and sexuality. Things that the islamic terrorist would find revoltingly debaucherous. It is also high profile as a state, with a vocal population that tends to feel safe and content.

EG, "any place there is a good target, as long as there are lots of people."

Given the rise of frequency of these actions of late, it is only a matter of time before some kind of attack is planned in california.

Yeah, but I don't know if ISIS has some sort of moral limit, like not target disabled people, if they even HAVE any morals at all. Really though, I'd expect them to target something more Hollywood related if it was in California.

There is absolutely zero information on the shooter(s) right now, so, everything is pure speculation.

Given that it was a center for disabled children, I'm expecting a lot of dead kids.

Gut reaction is that it's not terrorism. But if the multiple shooter angle is confirmed....I dunno. Doesn't make sense if you're trying to win hearts and minds, even in the Islamic world. There's just no PR upside to gunning down disabled kids.
