They're probably doing their own rehearsed closing statements rather than take the chance to fire back at the moderators.

I think he was trying to get the fuck off that question as quick as possible because he knew he has low credibility on that topic.

Waitwaitwaitwait. Wait. Does Fiorina not realize that she's the least politically experienced of the candidates on stage?

And apparently, we should elect Trump because he negotiated the debate down from 3.5 to 2 hours. Alright.

Technically Ben Carson is the least politically experienced because Fiorina has tried to run for office before (California Senator) and she has done some politics stuff. Ben Carson hasn't done any of that stuff at all.

Closing statements --
Paul: I want a government so tiny I can dress it up like a doll and play with it.
Christie: I'm deadly serious. I will fucking kill you if you don't vote for me.
Cruz: When millions of people stood up (and failed) against government policies, I was proud to lead that failure.
Fiorina: *blink blink blink blinky blink*
Carson: This debate sucked. God bless America.
Trump: We're a bunch of losers. You can thank me that you don't have to watch this shit for another hour.
Rubio: somethign something wasn't listening
Bush: I will be a uniter, not a divider....where have I heard that before...
Huckabee: America will be a charred husk for my grandchildren.
Kasich: Rebuild families.

It seemed more like Huckabee was attempting to swipe at the media without directly calling out the moderators, Carson pretty much thanked the audience for booing off the question given to Carson.

Also, there was a Politico article saying that some senator expected some drop outs after the debate, but given how poor the debate was as a whole, it seems like everybody will just forge on until the next debate.

Thank you so much for that summary, RedKing.
Totes welcome. I came in on the livestream just in time to hear Paul say "I want a government so tiny I can barely see it" and knew I had to start paraphrasing this shit.

Thread is pretty quiet, I take it I didn't miss much except candidates talking over the moderators?

Thread is quiet because debate is over, and I don't think you missed much.

It was a horribly moderated debate anyway.

I do wonder how much that 'Lets remove all government subsidies' bit will hurt Carson though.

It was pretty smart by the Republicans to actually hold off on sniping each other for a moment and instead start slamming the media (oh god, the poor moderators, this is abuse).

At least the media (as in CNBC) deserved the slamming this time.

Trump: We're a bunch of losers. You can thank me that you don't have to watch this shit for another hour.
I can't believe I'm saying this sincerely, but "Thank you, the Donald. You've done us all a great service."

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.
