I'll be there.

3 tier 1's and a monk, that would be amusing. With maybe a focus in summons.
To be fair, I'm only taking 2 levels in Monk and then going Tashalatora PsyWar the rest of the way.

Damned full-caster parties :P. At least the monk has Evasion now.

It's three low-level weak and soft spell casters huddling behind a class that is seen as very sub-optimal. At least I have armour.

I'm optimized around summoning, so if, next combat, I actually manage to summon something, I can be useful.

This time, don't burn like a wuss. And that retreat was just tactical re-positioning

Well, yes, we leveled up, right?

Yes, but that also means you'll be fighting more and better enemies.

Yes, but that also means you'll be fighting more and better enemies.
And then we'll have more and better spells as well. Anti-magic is quite a way from now. Especially if MNiI cheeses the magic stuff with summoning outsiders and spirits for cleric and druid spells, respectively.

RAW Monk is suboptimal; Monk 2/PsyWar 18 is one of the best ways to make it viable (the other, obviously, is Monk/Ardent). And there are houserules, brah:

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Even base Monk isn't tier 5 in games using Wrex's houserules, and the stuff related to Tashalatora bumps it up into a solid tier 3 (very, very good at tanking and initiation, still useful for other functions, especially once the PsyWar stuff starts rolling in).

That said, I'm also the only one who elected to not play a squishy caster, and we're already seeing the effects of that when we spent most of a session trying to break open chests 'cause we also don't have a skillful PC. Traps are gonna suuuuck. 'sides, if I'd rolled up another caster we might have been wiped in that first encounter, since Ara wouldn't have put the leader down with that alpha strike and we would have eaten a three-way crossfire. :P

He was Level 2, as well, which means his Burning Hands would have done 2d4.

At most that would've been my entire health. High death rate for low-level characters, the joys of D&D.

Seriously, it's amazing. It's like actual combat.
