I studied every day, learning even more about warcraft.
(Warcraft +25)

I wasn't the only one who used their spare time to improve their skills. All of my companions continued to train and practice. Although they all did well…

1) Stewart improved the most.
2) Maris improved the most.

Hermann improved the most.
3) Nobody stood out as improving the most.

Stewart is a good choice if we wish to continue having function as a meatshield. Maris if we want her to do something useful. Hrrmm...

There is no point in 3 really since Herman can't improve anymore.

3= No one stood out. Hermann doesn't have a number.

Hermann doesn't have a number because Hermann is as amazing as he/she is going to get. So 3 won't touch him/her.

Better to use our abilities to improve either our fighter or thief.

2 because we might actually need her skills eventually - well, we can probably use magic instead, but..

I'll just add that a well-rounded party can't hurt.

Maris worked really hard, training and practicing until her skills improved.

King Gareth's atrocities grew as the Kingdom of Daria continued to fall apart. I saw more beggars and homeless people on the streets than ever before. Rumors of Princess Emily's exile gave the people hope, especially when gossip began to proclaim that she had married her childhood sweetheart, Duke Peter, and had a child with him. This was monumental. The current heir to the throne was now living in exile with the elves.

It was probably for this very reason that the king married. The new queen was a young woman named Janice. We continued to work out of the Full Cup Inn as the years passed, taking on many adventuring jobs and building a name for ourselves.

I was 30 years old when I got a royal summons to meet King Gareth, who was now 40.

We looked over our equipment and trained in our skills before we left.

(We crafted the Healer's Kit and gave that to Hermann, increasing her skill by one. Maris improving the most also increased her skill by one.)

We packed up our belongings and left the tavern.

I was nervous at first, afraid he had found out that I knew about Princess Emily's escape nine years ago. When I arrived, I learned that wasn't the case at all. The king met with me in his private chambers, just the two of us. His eyes had an intensity to them that was unnerving.

I met him formally as my king.

The king sat in his chair and passed me a goblet of wine. I took it and waited to hear why he had called me here. He then started to explain, very frankly, that Queen Janice would not give him an heir. He explained that he wanted me to use magic to help her carry his baby. I asked why he didn't go to Fraledan, and he said that he had, but the old wizard was a traditionalist and had never studied the Healing magics needed.

1) I had just the required Healing spell, and I agreed to perform the task. (Needs 25 Healing)
2) I could use my Necromancy to bolster the child's lifeforce until it was born. (Needs 25 Necromancy)
3) I didn't know any magic that would help, but I promised to look into it.
4) I refused to help him.
